Patents Assigned to Telemanager Technologies, Inc.
  • Patent number: 8811578
Abstract: A system and method for providing local interactive voice response (IVR) services is provided. A local computer system having associated telephony equipment and installed at a local facility (e.g., a retail store of a chain, etc.) receives telephone calls to the local facility. The local computer system generates IVR prompts locally, and is controlled by a central IVR server. Reduced bandwidth is required between the local computer system and the central IVR server since no voice traffic is communicated between the central IVR server and the local computer system.

  • Patent number: 8738393
Abstract: A system and method for targeted pharmaceutical messaging is provided. The system includes a central targeted messaging server for receiving targeted advertisements or messages from a plurality of data sources, a notification database for storing the targeted messages and associated, pre-defined criteria, and a web server which can communicate with a plurality of message requesters to receive requests for targeted messages and to convey same to the plurality of message requesters. A customized web site could be provided for allowing vendors (e.g., pharmaceutical companies, etc.) to upload targeted message text files and/or voice files to the system of the present invention. In response to prescription-related activity, requests for targeted messages are transmitted by the plurality of message requesters to the system of the present invention.

  • Patent number: 8150706
Abstract: A prescription refill system having Voice-over-IP (VoIP) capabilities is provided. A central station remote from a pharmacy is provided for receiving phone calls (e.g., PSTN or VoIP calls) relating to prescription information. The central station obtains the prescription information, and automatically dispatches same to a pharmacy for filling. The pharmacy can dial into the central station to receive prescription information, or the information can be periodically faxed, e-mailed, or sent via the Internet to the pharmacy. A computer at the pharmacy allows for information to be retrieved from the central station, including voice messages stored at the central station. Calls made to the pharmacy can be forwarded to the central station automatically. A caller calling the central station can be switched to a live operator at the pharmacy for additional assistance.

  • Patent number: 7848934
Abstract: A central station is provided to which the pharmacy can forward calls at the convenience of the pharmacy. A caller will call in to the pharmacy to request a refill and the call will be automatically routed to the central facility unbeknownst to the caller. The central station will obtain the refill information required, preferably by means of an automated computer system as is known in the art. This information can then be transferred to the pharmacist in a number of ways, such as by periodically faxing the information to the pharmacy. Voice messages could be flagged and the pharmacist would have to call into the central facility to obtain the voice mail message. Alternatively, a PC could be installed in the pharmacy having a reduced version of a complete, stand-alone program. The refill information can then be sent to the pharmacy by modem and the pharmacist could see a computer display of the refill orders and could hear voice messages. Alternatively, the information could be e-mailed to the pharmacy.

  • Patent number: 6804654
Abstract: An automated prescription transcription and dispatch service using voice recognition and a customizable, user-friendly telephony interface is provided. A doctor or other medical personnel can call a prescription services system, and provide spoken prescription information. The call can be placed directly to the prescription services system using the Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) or Voice-over-IP (VoIP) connection, or can be forwarded to the prescription services system from a telephone number corresponding to a pharmacy. The system prompts the user through audible menus to provide prescription and patient information. The spoken information is digitized, recorded, and stored in the prescription services system, and then transcribed into textual format. The transcribed prescriptions are then transmitted to the doctor or medical personnel via variety of communication methodologies, such as fax, e-mail, XML, and electronic data interchange, for confirmation, review, and record keeping purposes.
