Abstract: A text entity extraction method, apparatus, and storage medium are provided. The method includes determining candidate text entities in a target text. Portions of the candidate text entities are combined to generate candidate segmentation combinations corresponding to the target text, the candidate text entities in each candidate segmentation combination being different. A combination probability corresponding to each candidate segmentation combination is calculated, where the combination probability is a probability that grammar is correct when the target text uses the candidate segmentation combination. A target segmentation combination corresponding to the target text is determined according to the combination probabilities. A text entity is extracted from the target text according to the target segmentation combination.

Abstract: A semantic extraction method based on a natural language is provided. In a character library based on a single-character granularity, a character of an input natural language is queried, to obtain first semantic vectors representing semantic descriptions of the character. Candidate semantic intentions corresponding to second semantic vectors and weight vectors corresponding to the candidate semantic intentions are obtained, wherein the second semantic vectors are obtained by using a neural network and correspond to different permutations and combinations of the first semantic vectors. A candidate semantic intention is selected as a final semantic intention of the natural language based on a preset condition, and key information is obtained corresponding to the final semantic intention according to a weight vector corresponding to the final semantic intention.

Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure provide a method and an apparatus for video coding. In some examples, the apparatus includes processing circuitry that divides a first video image into a plurality of pixel blocks of the same size. The processing circuitry selects, from the plurality of pixel blocks of the first video image, one or more pixel blocks on a straight line that is parallel to or overlapping with a diagonal line of the first video image, one or more pixel blocks on a neighboring parallel line of the straight line being previously coded. Then the processing circuitry performs a parallel coding on the one or more pixel blocks on the straight line based on the one or more coded pixel block on the neighboring parallel line.

Abstract: A method of adjusting a resource competition threshold for qualifying resource competition participants in resource competition is described. Processing circuitry of an apparatus obtains first competition data associated with a first time period, obtains a first optimal threshold according to the first competition data, and set the resource competition threshold according to the first optimal threshold. The processing circuitry obtains second competition data associated with a second time period, and obtains a second optimal threshold according to the second competition data. When a difference between the second optimal threshold and the resource competition threshold is greater than a difference threshold, the processing circuitry obtains third competition data and updates the resource competition threshold according to the third competition data.

Abstract: A method, an apparatus, and a terminal device for displaying an application message are provided. The method includes: extracting a logic controller that controls application message sending and receiving from an application; determining the extracted logic controller as a common controller object of the application and a desktop; creating a desktop instance object corresponding to the common controller object; and loading and displaying a set user interface component on the desktop by using the desktop instance object, and when the application has a new application message, displaying the new application message in the set user interface component by pulling the new application message by the logic controller. Embodiments of the present invention enable a user to view a new application message on the desktop more conveniently, and reduce power consumption of the terminal device.

Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a near-field wireless communication service processing method performed at a first computing device. While running a social networking application, the first computing device listens to a near-field wireless communication signal broadcasted by a second computing device. After detecting the near-field wireless communication signal broadcasted by the second computing device, first computing device processes the near-field wireless communication signal to obtain identification information associated with the second computing device. The first computing device sends the identification information associated with the second computing device to a remote server supporting the social networking application and obtains a preset service page corresponding to the identification information associated with the second computing device from the server, and displays the preset service page within the social networking application on the first computing device.

Abstract: A method for detecting an information card in an image is provided. The method includes performing a line detection to obtain two endpoints of a line segment corresponding to each of four sides of the information card; generating, a linear equation of the side; obtaining coordinates of four intersection points of the four sides of the information card; mapping the coordinates of the four intersection points to four corners of a rectangular box of the information card, to obtain a perspective transformation matrix; performing perspective transformation on image content encircled by four straight lines represented by the four linear equations to provide transformed image content; forming a gradient template according to a layout of information content on the information card; and using the gradient template to match with the transformed image content and determining whether the image content is a correct information card.

The method includes: a server receiving a session request from a control device, the session request including a predetermined device ID of a peripheral device associated with the control device; generating a first session key for encrypting and decrypting future communication between the peripheral device and the server; identifying a pre-stored encryption key corresponding to the predetermined device ID from a database, wherein the pre-stored encryption key is also pre-stored in the peripheral device; encrypting the first session key using the pre-stored encryption key; sending the encrypted first session key to the peripheral device via the control device; and encrypting communication to the peripheral device in a respective communication session using the first session key.

Abstract: Methods, devices, and servers for friend recommendation are provided. A user association set of a target user is obtained. Original data of each associated user in the user association set is obtained. The original data include location relationship data, associated friend data, time relationship data, or combinations thereof, between each associated user and the target user. The original data of each associated user is screened to obtain feature data to form a feature collection for each associated user. A pre-configured N-Tree prediction model is used to process the feature collection for a prediction calculation to obtain an association-predicting value for each associated user. According to the association-predicting value of each associated user, a friend user for the target user from the user association set is determined and recommended to the target user.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a real-time and time-distributed information recommendation system, method and apparatus. Specifically, when first clients of the information recommendation system running on first terminal devices access and operate on pieces of information, influence values of the pieces of information on friend clients of the first clients are calculated, accumulated and recorded in a database based on fried intimacy and types of the operations at the times the pieces of information are accessed and operated on. As such, the influence values of the pieces of information on friend clients are updated over time and in real-time. The speed and efficiency of processes for recommending information to the friend clients, when requested, are thus improved.

Abstract: A native object identification method is described. A first topic from a social network can be determined. The social network can be searched for M objects associated with the first topic. A frequency of appearances of each application account in the M objects is counted to obtain top N application accounts having highest frequencies of appearances. M and N can be positive integers. According to an account filter rule, a first application account is identified from the top N application accounts having highest frequencies of appearance. An object associated with the first topic and posted by the first application account is determined as a native object.

In response to detection the quit operation, the system may store, in a memory, a mapping between the child application identifier and the child application task, and suspend display of the child application. The system may generate a foreground and background switching entry corresponding to the child application, the foreground and background switching entry associated with the child application identifier. The system may display the foreground and background switching entry in a visible region of the graphical user interface generated based on a parent application. Abstract: This application discloses a traffic accident warning method performed by a computing device. After obtaining location data of a first vehicle and a second vehicle respectively, and videos captured by a first video camera onboard the first vehicle and a second video camera onboard the second vehicle, the computing device generates traffic scenes based on the road status data, the vehicle motion data, the pedestrian motion data obtained from the videos, and broadcasted traffic data, and then generates traffic accident models based on past traffic accidents, synthesizes a simulation video including one or more target features based on the traffic scenes and the traffic accident models at a target area associated with the target features. Finally, the computing device performs traffic accident prediction based on the simulation videos and sends warning information to the first vehicle in accordance with a determination that the first vehicle is about have an accident in the target area.
