Patent number: 12644167Abstract: A material 100 for an anti-theft device is described. The material 100 comprises a binder 102, a first type of particles 104, a second type of particles 106, and graphene layer 114 between the binder and each of the first type of particles 104 and second type of particles 106. The first type of particles 104 are selected from at least one of diamond and cubic boron nitride ‘CBN’, and the second type of hard particles are selected from at least one of a metallic carbide and a ceramic material. The first particles resist a cutting action of a cutting tool and the second particles degrade the cutting tool during the cutting action. The graphene bonds the particles to the binder to prevent the particles being dislodged by a cutting action. The result of the combination of these actions is to delay the time for an operator of a cutting tool to cut through the material 100.Type: GrantFiled: May 16, 2023Date of Patent: June 2, 2026Assignee: TENMAT LIMITEDInventors: Daniel Philip Reid, Kapil Chopra, Andrew Gareth Williams

Publication number: 20240200326Abstract: The present disclosure is directed toward a fire barrier for use in a fire rated movement joint (100) for an internal compartment wall. The fire barrier (132) comprises a strip of intumescent (126) material enclosed in a scrim (134), and the scrim (134) comprises a gusset (136) into which the intumescent (126) expands when reacting to heat.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 26, 2024Publication date: June 20, 2024Applicant: TENMAT LIMITEDInventors: Daniel Philip REID, Ian HAINSWORTH, Rupert COGGON

Patent number: 11946247Abstract: The present disclosure is directed toward a fire rated movement joint (100) for an internal compartment wall. The joint (100) comprises a wall track (112), a wall board (116) arranged at least partially overlapping the wall track (112) with a gap (124) therebetween, a fire barrier (132). The fire barrier (132) comprises an intumescent (126) and a scrim (134) enclosing the intumescent (126). The intumescent (126) is at least partly arranged within the gap (124) between the wall board (116) and the wall track (112), and the scrim (134) comprises a gusset (136) into which the intumescent (126) expands when reacting to heat.Type: GrantFiled: December 22, 2022Date of Patent: April 2, 2024Assignee: TENMAT LIMITEDInventors: Daniel Philip Reid, Ian Hainsworth, Rupert Coggon

Patent number: 5234752Abstract: In a wear-resistant laminated article (e.g. a bearing, or a compressor rotor blade) made by heating an assembly of superimposed layers of fabric impregnated with a phenolic or other thermosetting resin, the fabric is made of non-asbestos yarn comprising a core of glass fibre with a surface of aramid fibre and a relatively porous fibre such as viscose fibre, the aramid fibre forming not more than 40% by weight of the yarn. The laminate may further incorporate carbon fibres.Type: GrantFiled: October 1, 1991Date of Patent: August 10, 1993Assignee: Tenmat LimitedInventors: Philip Laflin, John E.
