Abstract: The invention relates to a roller (1) having a wheel (2), which is accommodated in a housing, and a locking device (10, 17), the locking device (10, 17) being actuated by foot actuation of an actuating element (5) which is arranged so that it extends radially outwardly with respect to a vertical (V) that passes through a securing portion of the roller (1). To provide a roller which is advantageously formed with regard to locking by foot operation, it is proposed that an actuating portion of the actuating element (5) extends circumferentially at least far enough that a second foot actuation in the circumferential direction with respect to the vertical (V) may be carried out next to an area of the actuating portion by way of which a first foot actuation has been carried out.

Abstract: The invention relates to a double roller (1) with two running wheels (2) and one carrier housing (3), wherein an assembly journal (6) is arranged on the carrier housing (3). An actuating tappet (15) can be displaced in the assembly journal against a spring force, interacting with a counter locking part (65) for directional and/or complete fixation. Furthermore, a running wheel braking part (25) with engaging parts (37, 38) is provided for blocking the rotation of the running wheels (2). The running wheel braking part (25) is likewise actuated by the actuating tappet (15) and furthermore the housing section (4) accommodating the actuating tappet (15) includes a ball bearing (8) on the upper side and surrounds the actuating tappet (15) at least partially toward the bottom. Abstract: The invention relates to a caster comprising a trailing wheel, a fork and an assembly journal. The fork can be swiveled in relation to the assembly journal and inside the fork a braking device is disposed which can be displaced into the braking position via a tappet actuated by a trip cam. The aim of the invention is to provide a direction-lockable caster that has a simple design. For this purpose, the tappet interacts with a direction locking part mounted stationarily on the fork, when spring biased into a direction locking position.
