Patents Assigned to Termofrost Sweden AB
  • Patent number: 4733504
Abstract: A window for buildings, particularly dwelling houses and office buildings, comprising a frame and two or more glass window-panes, of which the window-pane located nearest a room has an electrically conductive layer applied to the side thereof remote from the room. In accordance with the invention there is provided a control circuit (8) for connection to a voltage source located in the frame (2) of the window (1). Also provided is a thermistor (14) which is in contact with the side of the window-pane (3) remote from the room and which is connected to the aforementioned control circuit (8) and arranged to produce or to influence an electric signal corresponding to the temperature of the window pane (3). The control circuit (8) is arranged to control the supply of current to the electrically conductive layer so that the window-pane (3) can be brought to a given temperature set by a potentiometer (16) connected to the control circuit (8).

  • Patent number: 4637167
Abstract: A door for refrigerating and freezing chambers, comprising a door frame supporting one or more glass panes for exposing refrigerated or frozen goods in said chamber through the door. According to the invention, the door frame comprises a section (6) capable to support the glass (4) associated with the door (1) along only one vertical edge (7) of the glass (4), at which edge (7) the door (1) is intended to be hingedly suspended in a door case. An inner longitudinal cavity (10) is located along the entire length of the section (6), in which cavity (10) a torsion spring (11) extends substantially along the entire length of the section (6), which torsion spring (11) is capable to be locked at one end relative to the section (6) and at its other end relative to said door case.

  • Patent number: 4562509
Abstract: A safety switch for a glass door, which is used for refrigerating and deep freeze chambers and comprises two or more glass panes of hardened glass, of which the front pane (21) remote from the refrigerating and deep freeze chamber is heated by an electrically conductive layer attached on the inner surface of the pane, which layer is connected to an upper and, respectively, lower collecting conductor, and the rear pane (22) facing to the refrigerating and deep freeze chamber is provided with at least one conductor attached on the pane. The conductors are connected to a current scanning device (20), which is capable to scan whether current flows through said collecting conductors and the conductor of the rear pane, and which is capable to break the connection between the conductors of the two panes (21,22) and a voltage source (46) in the event that current does not flow in the collecting conductors and/or in the conductor of the rear pane.
