Abstract: The invention relates to a grounding system for a tower of an overhead power line, wherein said tower is anchored to the ground by means of one or more anchorage structures (1) at least partially buried.
Abstract: AC/DC converter wherein a three-phase trans former (2) comprises a plurality of first secondary windings (4-a, 4-b, . . . 4-n) magnetically linked with a first primary winding (3-T), a plurality of second secondary windings (5-a, 5-b, . . . 5-n) magnetically linked with a second primary winding (3-S) and a plurality of third secondary windings (6-a, 6-b, . . . 6-n) magnetically linked with a third primary winding (3-R). There is provided a plurality of first, second and third reconfigurable connection modules each of which is respectively connected on the input side with a first, a second and a third secondary winding; the outputs of the first reconfigurable connection modules being connected in series to one another, the outputs of the second reconfigurable connection modules being connected in series to one another and the outputs of the third reconfigurable connection modules are connected in series to one another.
Abstract: A system for supporting the stability of an electrical grid comprises an asynchronous electric machine with an accessible rotor circuit and a stator with a stator circuit connected to the grid. A flywheel is coupled to the rotor, for the machine to absorb electric energy and store it as kinetic energy, and to convert the stored kinetic energy in electric energy to be delivered to the grid A static converter is connected between the grid and the rotor circuit An electronic control measures a grid frequency and determines ROCOF values, being a derivative of the frequency In case of a change in the frequency, the machine immediately provides an uncontrolled natural inertial response. Moreover, the static converter is controlled such that the machine supplies a controlled synthetic inertial response wherein the active power absorbed/supplied is modulated according to the determined ROCOF value and the uncontrolled natural inertial response already provided.

Abstract: A high-voltage overhead electric transmission line extends from a first electrical substation to a second electrical substation and includes at least one âTâ junction that forms a joint with three sections A first section and a second section allow connection between the first and the second electrical substations. A third section allows connection to the high-voltage overhead electric transmission line of a user or a third electrical substation or primary substation. The at least one âTâ junction has a first switchgear unit configured to allow grid reconfigurations and installed on the first section, and a second switchgear unit configured to allow grid reconfigurations and installed on the second section. Each switchgear unit has a plurality of switchgear unit poles. Each switchgear unit pole is associated with a respective phase of the high-voltage overhead electric transmission line and has a line circuit breaker and at least one line disconnector.

Abstract: A tower for a high-voltage overhead electric transmission line has a predetermined shape defining an internal volume of the tower, and carries a first tension side of a first line section and a second tension side of a second line section. The first and second tension sides have respective pluralities of first and second tension terminals, each associated with a respective phase of the high-voltage overhead electric transmission line. The tower supports a switchgear unit connected at a first end to the first line section and at a second end to the second line section and configured to modify grid configuration, interrupting and restoring electrical continuity in pre-established points, to interrupt nominal and fault currents, and to carry out safety operations. The switchgear unit has a plurality of switchgear unit poles, each associated with a respective phase of the high-voltage overhead electric transmission line and including a line circuit breaker and at least one line disconnector.
