    Abstract: Disclosed is a double walled vessel for use in an AR system. The AR system includes AR software and an AR display device having a camera and a video screen. The double walled vessel includes an inner vessel disposed within an outer vessel to form an isolated space between the inner and outer vessels. An AR target is located in the isolated space so that it is protected, but visible through the walls of the vessel. The AR display device is configured to take an image of the AR target by its camera, whereupon the AR system's software processes that image to produce an augmented reality image which is provided on the AR display device's screen for viewing by a user.

    Abstract: An insulated drinking vessel, e.g., a wine glass, and methods of making the same is disclosed. The vessel basically comprises a pre-molded inner vessel formed of a plastic material having a sidewall, a pre-molded outer vessel formed of a plastic material, and a ring. The ring is formed of a plastic material and is molded in-situ on a top portion of the inner vessel to cause portions of the plastic material of the inner vessel to melt and intermingle with the plastic material of the ring to form a non-superficial homogenous joint therebetween. The inner vessel is disposed within the outer vessel and the ring is welded to a top portion of the outer vessel. The ring forms the rim or lip of the insulated drinking vessel and that vessel includes an insulating air space between the sidewall portions of the inner and outer vessels.

The lid is arranged to be automatically pivoted open by the spring assembly when a catch on the lid is released so that the lid opens in a controlled, non-jarring manner. The spring assembly comprises an elastomeric member and a contact surface (e.g., a recess in a cap of the bottle). The elastomeric member is arranged to cooperate with the contact surface whereupon the elastomeric member operates bi-modally to effect the automatic opening of the lid.

At least one of the inner and outer vessels and the ring is molded in situ on the integral structure to cause portions thereof to melt and intermingle to form a non-superficial homogenous joint, with the ring forming the rim or lip of the insulated drinking vessel.

The agent chamber includes plural different sized metering orifices, orifice configured to be brought into communication with the liquid agent port of the spout when the spout is pivoted to any one of plural angular positions to provide a metered amount of the liquid agent into the spout for mixing with the base liquid in the mixing space when the user sucks on the spout. The base liquid is drawn into the spout from the interior of the vessel via a base liquid metering port that is brought into communication with the base liquid inlet port when the spout is in any one of those plural angular positions.

    Abstract: A replaceable valve member for a sippy cup assembly is disclosed. The valve member is a flexible, resilient member for releasable mounting in the lid of the sippy cup. It includes a normally closed, but openable slit located within the sippy cup's spout when the valve member is in its operative position. The valve member includes another normally closed, but openable slit located at a vent in the sippy cup's lid when the valve member is in the operative position. The two slits open when suction is applied to the spout to enable liquid to be withdrawn through the spout. A recess is provided in a portion of the periphery of the valve member to preclude the trapping of residual liquid in the sippy cup. The valve member also includes an opening for releasably mounting it on a handle of the sippy cup in a storage position.

The inner vessel is arranged to be supported within the outer vessel on the flange of the outer vessel and with portions of the annular wall and annular groove engaging each other. Ultrasonic energy is applied to one of the flanges adjacent the engaging surfaces to concentrate the ultrasonic welding energy at those surfaces to produce a good double sided shear joint weldment thereat.
