Abstract: Balancing and synchronizing device for a plant (10) comprising one or more brake machines (12) for laying cables (11), each of which comprises a plurality of unwinding members each provided with at least a pair of capstans (14). The device comprises a plurality of control units (22, 22a), configured to automatically adjust the unwinding tension of each individual cable (11), and user interface means (18), independently connected to each control unit (22, 22a), so as to set predetermined functional and operating parameters of each pair of capstans (14). Each control unit (22, 22a) is connected to detector elements (21) of a corresponding pair of capstans (14). The device comprises a data transmission and reception line (25) to which the control units (22, 22a) are connected for at least a part of the laying cycle.
Abstract: Safety device for a stretching machine of the brake type comprising a negative brake which can be selectively activated and de-activated so as to constrain and respectively allow the rotation of at least one capstan which supports cables, a pumping device connected to the negative brake and configured to de-activate the latter during the normal use of the stretching machine, putting a working fluid under pressure, pressure energy accumulation means of said working fluid, and a maximum pressure valve configured to regulate the working pressure of a hydraulic motor for controlling the twisting torque applied to the capstan.

The machines of the assembly and plant are distinct and independent with respect to each other and each includes unwinding members having at least a pair of capstans to unwind the cables, and corresponding traction/collection members having at least a pair of capstans to wind the cables fed from the relative unwinding members. The synchronization assembly and plant includes automatic adjustment members that adjust the speed of rotation of the capstans of at least two unwinding members or two traction/collection members of the laying machines, so as to maintain the winding/unwinding speed of the cables stretched by each machine substantially equal.

Abstract: Laying apparatus and method for cables, lines, conductors or suchlike. The apparatus comprises at least a hydraulic circuit provided with a variable delivery feed pump and with a motor connected to the feed pump in order to drive laying members for the cables and suchlike. The hydraulic circuit comprises detectors able to detect the value of pressure of the oil inside the hydraulic circuit and to compare it with a pre-determined pressure value, and valves connected to the detectors and able to reduce the delivery of the feed pump in the event that the pressure measured exceeds the pre-determined pressure value.
