Publication number: 20230083391Abstract: A pressure-testing system for a tubular product. Preferably, the tubular product is a joint or a stand of production tubing. The pressure testing assembly includes a controller; a fluid reservoir configured to contain a test fluid; a pump in fluid communication with the fluid reservoir; a fluid hose having a first end configured to receive the test fluid from the reservoir, and a second end configured to be fluidically connected to a hydrotest tool for the tubular product; and a transducer. The transducer sends signals to the controller indicative of pressure within the fluid hose. The controller is programmed to automatically (i) store a pressure threshold value (T) and (ii) store a pressure test value (PT) such that when pressure in the fluid hose reaches (T) or when pressure in the fluid hose reaches (PT), the controller sends a signal to a diverter to divert a direction of fluid being pumped so that fluid is no longer pumped into tubular product.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 21, 2022Publication date: March 16, 2023Applicant: Adams Testing Services, Inc.Inventors: Dustin J. Adams, Dylan J. Adams

Patent number: 8789360Abstract: A safety device for an exhaust gas aftertreatment system provides an alternative exhaust route in case of high temperatures or pressures within the regenerating particulate filter of the exhaust gas aftertreatment system that may cause damage to the particulate filter. The safety device comprises a valve that redirects the flow of exhaust gas from the regenerating particulate filter when specified temperature or pressure thresholds are met or exceeded.Type: GrantFiled: October 24, 2012Date of Patent: July 29, 2014Assignee: Boshart Automotive Testing Services, Inc.Inventor: Kenneth J. Boshart

Patent number: 7257557Abstract: A method, program and system for administering tests in a distributed data processing network are provided by the present invention. The invention includes combining predetermined test content and multimedia support material into a single encrypted test file. The multimedia support may include visual and audio files for presenting test questions. The invention then exports the encrypted test file to at least one remote test location. The test locations import and decrypt the encrypted test file and load the test content and multimedia support material into a local database. The test is administered on a plurality of client workstations at the testing location, wherein the test may include audio questions and verbal responses by participants. During the course of testing biometric data about test participants is recorded and associated with the test files and participant identification.Type: GrantFiled: July 20, 2004Date of Patent: August 14, 2007Assignee: Online Testing Services, Inc.Inventor: Alan Michael Hulick

Patent number: 5265011Abstract: The system measures the pressure pulses in an upper body peripheral artery and produces an electrical signal which represents the contours of these pulses. It then digitizes the signal and synthesizes the pressure pulses in the ascending aorta using either a frequency-domain or a time-domain calculation method. Next, the system separately averages the signals corresponding to the measured pulses and those corresponding to the synthesized pulses, and forms for each an "average pulse." The system identifies the wave foot in each of the average pulses, identifies the incisura in the average peripheral pulse, determines the amount of time associated with systole and, based on this time, segments the synthesized pulse into systolic and diastolic components.Type: GrantFiled: November 8, 1991Date of Patent: November 23, 1993Assignee: Eastern Medical Testing Services, Inc.Inventor: Michael F.
