Patents Assigned to TEUFELBERGER FIBER ROPE GMBH
  • Patent number: 11802372
Abstract: The invention relates to a rope made of textile fiber material, comprising a rope core and a sheath surrounding the rope core, wherein the sheath, an intermediate sheath located between the sheath and the rope core and/or a reinforcement located between the sheath and the rope core comprise(s) a twine of excess length, the twine of excess length being formed in that it comprises at least a first yarn and a second yarn which are twisted together, the first yarn having a greater length than the second yarn, measured in an untwisted state of a unit length of the twine. In a further aspect, the invention relates to a method of manufacturing a twine of excess length for the above-mentioned rope.

  • Patent number: 11008703
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for determining the replacement state of wear of a rope made of a textile fibre material, wherein, in the course of using the rope, the elongation of the rope is monitored over its entire length and the rope is discarded if the elongation of the rope over the entire length exceeds a predetermined maximum value (%). The method according to the invention is characterized in that also the local elongation of a discrete rope section is monitored and the rope is discarded if the local elongation of the rope section exceeds a predetermined maximum value (%), with the maximum value of the local elongation of the rope section being greater than the maximum value of the elongation of the rope over the entire length.

  • Patent number: 10808355
Abstract: A high-strength fibre rope (1) comprising a rope core as well as a sheathing indicating optical wear, wherein the sheathing comprises a sheath layer (2) made up of textile subunits (3, 4) of a first hierarchy level. An outermost sheath layer (2) is provided, wherein textile subunits (3, 4) of said outermost sheath layer of the first hierarchy level differ from each other in terms of their textile structure, and/or an outermost sheath layer and a further sheath layer underneath said outermost sheath layer are provided, and wherein the textile subunits of the first hierarchy level of said outermost sheath layer differ in their textile structure from that of said further sheath layer. The textile subunits of a lowermost hierarchy level of the rope are neither dispersed in a resin matrix in the outermost sheath layer nor in the further sheath layer arranged underneath the outermost sheath layer.

  • Patent number: 10563350
Abstract: The present invention relates to a rope assembly (1) consisting of at least one rope (2) that is made of textile fibre material and is folded back to form two substantially parallel rope portions (2?, 2?), wherein load distribution between the two rope portions is enabled and the rope portions are surrounded by a common sleeve (4). The rope assembly according to the invention is particularly suitable as a winch rope or as a rope for drive pulley drives, e.g., as a lift cable, in Koepe hoists and in capstans.
