  • Patent number: 11767215
Abstract: A system for delivering a fluid to a fluid consuming asset having a fluid tank is disclosed. An inlet of a manifold is fluidically coupled to a storage tank that contains the fluid to be delivered. A first distal end of a fluid transporting mechanism is fluidically coupled to an outlet of the manifold. A second distal end of the fluid transporting mechanism is fluidically coupled to the fluid tank. A primary valve is fluidically coupled to the fluid transporting mechanism and restricts fluid flow to the fluid tank when fluid level in the fluid tank reaches a first fluid level threshold. A secondary valve is fluidically coupled to the fluid transporting mechanism and restricts fluid flow to the fluid tank when fluid level in the fluid tank reaches a second fluid level threshold. The first fluid level threshold is lower than the second fluid level threshold.

  • Patent number: 11760622
Abstract: Apparatus for delivering fluid to a fluid consuming asset having a fluid tank includes a tank operable to contain the fluid and a fluid delivery coupling fluidically coupling the tank to a manifold. A pressure relief valve is fluidically coupled to the manifold, disposed between the manifold and the tank, and coupled to the tank through a recirculation inlet. The pressure relief valve is set at a predetermined pressure threshold and opens when the back-pressure in the manifold exceeds that threshold. The fluid is directed to the tank through the recirculation inlet when the pressure relief valve opens. A fluid transporting mechanism is fluidically coupled to the manifold at a first distal end and a fill cap at a second distal end. The fill cap is coupled to an opening of the fluid tank and fluid can flow from the manifold to the fluid tank through the fluid transporting mechanism.

  • Patent number: 11498828
Abstract: A float probe configured to regulate fluid flow into a fluid container is disclosed. The float probe comprises an upper assembly having one or more outlets, a plurality of rods extending from the upper assembly to a lower assembly and a float assembly disposed between the upper assembly and the lower assembly. A first distal end of the rods is coupled to the upper assembly and a second distal end of the rods is coupled to the lower assembly. The rods extend along an outer surface of the float assembly and the float assembly is movable along the rods between a first position proximate to the upper assembly and a second position proximate to the lower assembly. The float assembly prevents fluid flow out of the outlets when disposed in the first position.

  • Patent number: 11261078
Abstract: An improved fill cap for delivering a fluid from a fluid transporting mechanism to a fluid tank is disclosed. A connection plate is coupled to an opening of the fluid tank and a probe is disposed within the fluid tank and coupled to the connection plate at a first distal end. The fluid flows into the fluid tank through an outlet at a second distal end of the probe. A valve is disposed at the second distal end of the probe and is movable between an open position and a closed position to control fluid flow out of the probe outlet. An arm is coupled to the valve and moves the valve between the open and closed positions and a float is coupled to the arm that moves the arm depending on the level of fluid in the fluid tank.

  • Patent number: 11136235
Abstract: An improved method of delivering fluid to a fluid consuming asset having a fluid tank. A tank filled with fluid is coupled to a manifold through a fluid delivery coupling having a first pressure relief valve set at a first predetermined pressure threshold disposed between the tank and the manifold. The fluid is directed back to the tank through a first re-circulation inlet when the first pressure relief valve opens. A second pressure relief valve is disposed between the manifold and the tank and directs fluid back to the tank when back-pressure in the manifold exceeds a second predetermined pressure threshold. The manifold is coupled to a fluid transporting mechanism which is fluidically coupled to the fluid tank. fluid flows out of the manifold into the fluid transporting mechanism, through a fill cap and into the fuel tank.

  • Patent number: 11111126
Abstract: A method of delivering a fluid to a fluid consuming asset having a fluid tank is disclosed. A first tank is filled with the fluid and is fluidically coupled to a second tank which may be pressurized by a compressor. The second tank is fluidically coupled to a manifold which is in turn coupled to a fluid transporting mechanism. The fluid transporting mechanism is fluidically coupled to a hydraulic connector of a fill cap which is coupled to an opening of the fluid tank. The fluid is directed from the first tank to the second tank, the manifold, the fluid transporting mechanism, the hydraulic connector and into the fluid tank through an outlet of a probe of the fill cap.

  • Patent number: 10865096
Abstract: In a method and system for delivering fluid to a fluid consuming asset having a fluid tank, an inlet of a manifold is fluidically coupled to a tank and an outlet of the manifold is coupled to a spigot. A pressure relief valve is disposed between the tank and the manifold to facilitate fluid flow back to the tank through a recirculation inlet when the back-pressure in the system reaches a threshold value. A first distal end of a fluid transporting mechanism is coupled to the spigot and a second distal end thereof is coupled to a hydraulic connector of a fill cap having a connection plate coupled to the fluid tank of the fluid consuming asset. The fill cap further comprises a probe and fluid flows from the first tank to the second tank, through the manifold and the hydraulic connector, through the probe and into the fluid tank of the fluid consuming asset.
