Abstract: The invention relates to a container, in particular a fermenter for a biogas plant, wherein in the container a mixer is arranged that can be removed through an inspection opening provided in a container wall. A boom is provided for this purpose. Furthermore, the invention relates to a related method and a related use.

Abstract: An agitator assembly configured for mounting on a container such as a liquid manure or biogas tank. The assembly includes a tube with a closure member, a drive shaft operably connected to a motor and having a propeller attached thereto, and a flange with a seal. The drive shaft and propeller are longitudinally moveable in and out of the container within the tube while maintaining a seal on the tube to prevent the escape of liquids or gasses from the container. The tube can be closed and the drive shaft and propeller removed without having to empty the container.

Abstract: A device for intimately mixing the content of substrate containers, includes a stirring mechanism made up of a drive motor, a connecting rod and a stirring propeller at the end of the connecting rod remote from the drive motor. A support mechanism is provided for accepting the weight of the stirring mechanism.
