    Abstract: A system for the measurement of delay between a video signal and an audio signal includes a tone-burst generator circuit (9) which marks an audio signal (3). The mark is then used as a reference which is detected at both signals' destination (15) and the timing delay between the signals is displayed (19) and may be corrected (17, 18).
