  • Patent number: 6595023
Abstract: The present invention provides a structure of an evaporation region of an absorption diffusion type refrigerating circulation. The refrigerating circulation comprises a generator, a rectifier, a condenser, an evaporator, a concentrated ammonia aqueous solution tank, and an absorber. An ammonia liquid pipe and a hydrogen pipe are arranged in a pipeline of the evaporator. The evaporator at the evaporation region has a simple shape and structure, and can be processed easily, hence saving the space thereof. Because the ammonia liquid pipe and the hydrogen pipe are arranged in the evaporator, the effect of heat exchange thereof is better, and the refrigerating temperature is lower.

  • Patent number: 6581406
Abstract: An absorption diffusion type refrigerating structure comprises a generator, a rectifier, a condenser, an evaporator, a concentrated ammonia aqueous solution tank, and an absorber. The absorber is vertical. A spiral device is disposed in the absorber to lengthen the flow path of diluted ammonia aqueous solution, to extend the time of diluted ammonia aqueous solution in the absorber, and to expand the reaction area of diluted ammonia solution in the absorber, thereby reducing the whole weight, shrinking the volume, and enhancing the refrigerating speed. An ammonia liquid pipe and a hydrogen pipe are arranged in the evaporator. The evaporator has a simple and symmetrical shape, and can be processed and assembled easily, hence saving the space thereof. Moreover, because the ammonia liquid pipe and the hydrogen pipe are arranged in the evaporator, the effect of heat exchange thereof is better, and the refrigerating temperature is lower.

  • Patent number: 6579620
Abstract: A water-repellent coating has tetrafluoroethylene resin powder, silicone resin binder, and organic solvent. The tetrafluoroethylene resin powder has a ratio of the peak absorbance at 1,800 cm−1 to the peak absorbance at 500 cm−1 of 0.0001 to 0.05 exclusive. A coating film is formed by applying such a coating on a substrate. The coating has the properties of high water repellency, excellent anti-ice-coating, excellent anti-snow-coating, and so on, in spite of not having a large amount of fluororesin powder. In addition, the coating of film keeps the water repellency regardless of whether the coating film is immersed into water for a long time.

  • Patent number: 6564573
Abstract: The present invention proposes a concentrated ammonia aqueous solution tank used in an absorption diffusion type refrigerating equipment. The present invention is characterized in that a capillary tissue is placed in the concentrated ammonia aqueous solution tank. The capillary tissue is formed by bending knitted metal nets or is integrally formed by means of sintering. Thereby, additional surface area of absorption reaction can be increased, and the volume and weight of the original absorber can be reduced, hence increasing refrigerating speed and reducing refrigerating temperature.

  • Patent number: 6053519
Abstract: An occupant-operated motorized vehicle is provided having a motorized front wheel assembly. The vehicle is further provided with an operator controlled lifting structure which aides the occupant in coming to a standing position. The lifting structure includes a linear actuator that is coupled to a clevis, which is in turn coupled to a shaft. Activation of the actuator causes the clevis and therefore the shaft to rotate. Attached to each end of the shaft is a lift lever that extends rearwardly away from the shaft. The end of the lever not attached to the shaft are equipped to be coupled to a support sling that is used to support the occupant and raise the occupant to a standing position. The vehicle is further equipped with a seat to accommodate the occupant in an initial seated position, and at any time that the occupant desires to be in a seated position.

  • Patent number: 4462578
Abstract: A shock absorber for a vehicle is provided with an elongated rod which is longitudinally displaceable with respect to a carrier which supports at least one frictional rod engagement member for producing a rod travel retardation force. The rod engagement member is arranged to apply a lateral force to the rod, which lateral force is translated into the rod travel retardation force to smoothly and quickly control the motion of the rod between first and second positions. The frictional rod engagement member can be urged against a rod in various ways, including compression of a resilient or elastic force exerting component, such as a wire-wound spring. The combination of the force exerting components and the frictional member can be configured to apply retardation forces to the rod which have preselectable damping characteristics. In a featured embodiment of the invention, the resilient force exerting component is itself damped by contact with the frictional rod engagement member.

  • Patent number: 4310149
Abstract: A resilient element shock absorber having a casing and a movable rod extending into a bore in the casing. Two bushings are slidably disposed in the bore, and a resilient structure is disposed between the bushings. Upon displacement of the rod in either direction from its neutral position, one of the bushings is displaced inwardly and the resilient structure is compressed. Thus, the resilient structure will oppose any displacement of the rod from its neutral position and the resilient structure will bias the rod towards its neutral position. Adjustment devices are provided for varying the forces exerted by the resilient structure.
