Abstract: For managing application data of different contactless card applications for a plurality of mobile communication devices (2), a card emulation module and application data for contactless card applications are transferred (S2, S3) by a computer system (1) to one of the mobile communication devices (2). The card emulation module is configured to control the mobile communication device (2) to emulate a contactless card module and to execute data transactions (S6, S7) via a close range wireless communication interface of the mobile communication device (2) using the application data. The computer system (1) maintains (S20, S30, S40, S50, S60) for the mobile communication devices (2) a card database with representations of the card emulation modules and their application data. The computer system (1) makes it possible to manage centrally and flexibly the application data of different contactless card applications and different application providers for a plurality of mobile communication devices (2).

Abstract: A vacuum shut off valve mechanism for a soil fumigant applicator includes a pneumatic cylinder that is operably connected to respective fumigant dispensing tubes and shanks of the applicator through a flow divider. A pair of switch operated valves respectively control the flow of fumigant to the flow divider and operation of the pneumatic cylinder. In a first switch state a first valve is opened to deliver fumigant to the flow divider and a second valve operates the pneumatic cylinder to pressurize the flow divider and allow delivery of the fumigant to the dispensing shanks. In a second state, the first valve is closed and the second valve operates the pneumatic cylinder to draw a vacuum, which restricts dripping and leaking of residual fumigant from the tubes and dispensing shanks.

Abstract: A device for removing coverings laid on planar surfaces includes a drive unit having a pair of drive wheels and a first drive motor for driving the drive wheels, a motor-driven striking mechanism having a cutting blade and a second drive motor. The cutting blade connects to the second drive motor by a connecting rod. The drive unit and the striking mechanism have an articulated connection which is designed in such a way that the drive unit and the striking mechanism are mounted so as to be rotatable relative to one another.

Abstract: An internet activity analyzer includes a network interface controller, a packet capturing module, a packet analysis module, and a data management module. The network interface controller is connected to a transmission medium for a network segment and is arranged to receive the stream of data packets passing along the medium. The packet stream is filtered to remove undesired packet data and is stored in a raw packet data buffer. The packet data is decoded at the internet protocol layer to provide information such as timing and sequencing data regarding the exchange of packets between nodes and the packet data for exchanges between multiple nodes may be recompiled into concatenated raw transaction data which may be coherently stored in a raw transaction data buffer. An application level protocol translator translates the raw transaction data and stores the data in a translated transaction data buffer.
