    Abstract: A shoulder rest for a bowed string instrument comprises a curved base with a top surface and a bottom surface. The top surface has a first attachment element. A resilient pad has a second attachment element facing the first attachment element. The second attachment element is configured to removably couple to the first attachment element. A plurality of engagement members is coupled to the bottom surface of the curved base and configured to prevent the curved base from contacting the bowed string instrument during use.
