Abstract: There is provided a system and method for long-term repair and maintenance of multi-unit buildings. Landlords and service providers may access the system to manage repair and maintenance of the units. Such repair and maintenance may comprise rehabilitation or major renovation work, refreshing or minor repairs, and for guardianship or periodic verification of the unit. Once a vacation notice is received for a unit, which had never been rehabilitated previously, rehabilitation of the newly vacated unit may be performed. If the unit had already been rehabilitated, refreshing of the newly vacated unit may be performed. Optional guardianship may also be performed in a currently occupied unit, which had been rehabilitated in the past.
