Abstract: Wave springs having multiple variable turns, methods of pre-loading components with said wave springs, and methods of manufacturing said wave springs are provided. The wave spring has a total height defined by a first end portion and a second opposite end portion and an intermediate portion disposed between the first and second end portions. The intermediate portion has active turns with waved or non-planar turns and non-active turns with planar or non-waved turns. The wave spring also has a first alignment disposed between the first and second end portions, wherein first alignment comprises at least two waved or non-planar turns being aligned with each other.

Abstract: A lighted inflatable display including a body made of flexible fabric that is semipermeable to the passage of air through the fabric, at least one divider panel that partitions an interior space within the body into a plurality of chambers, a pressurized air source configured to discharge pressurized air into the body, and a plurality of cooperatively controlled decorative lights disposed inside each chamber, wherein the at least one divider panel reduces light transmission between chambers and includes an aperture permitting passage of pressurized air and an electrical power cord sequentially from a base portion of the inflatable display to each of the chambers.

Abstract: An apparatus for installing a string of decorative lighting, such as Christmas or party lights, in an elevated location without requiring the use of a ladder. The apparatus allows the string of lights to be hung simultaneously with a hanging bracket or clip suitable for hanging the lights from a gutter or shingles. A clamp, actuated between an open and closed position, securely holds the light string by a socket rather than the wire string, while the light string is being hung. The clamp preferably includes prongs oriented in different directions, one direction adapted for hanging a string of lights with a hook-type hanging bracket and the other direction adapted for use with a clip-type hanger. A protective body covers the bulb while the light string is being hung.

The system may also make provision for circumstances in which a first panel is not available.

Abstract: In a neutral section (1) for use with an overhead railway conducting line, which neutral section (1) is disposed between the ends of the conduction line when in use and comprises an insulator (10) to isolate the ends of the conductor line from each other, the neutral axis of the neutral section (1) being such that when the neutral section (1) is in use the neutral axis is aligned closely with the neutral axis of the conductors on its either side and the height of the insulator (10) is chosen so that the stiffness and the dynamic mass of the neutral section (1) closely match those of the conductors on its either side in both the vertical and horizontal planes.
