Abstract: An electronic device housing includes a bottom housing, a support frame, and a plastic side frame. The support frame is fixed on the bottom housing to form a receiving groove between the bottom housing and the plastic side frame. The plastic side frame is integrally formed by injecting a plastic material in the receiving groove. A manufacturing method for an electronic device housing is also provided.

Abstract: A method for driving a liquid crystal display (LCD) is disclosed. The LCD includes a common electrode, a pixel electrode, and a liquid crystal layer having a plurality of impurity ions. The method includes: separating the impurity ions toward the common electrode and the pixel electrode to form an internal electric field in the liquid crystal layer; and providing a common voltage for the common electrode, and providing a first compensation voltage and a second compensation voltage for the pixel electrode. The first compensation voltage and the second compensation voltage herein are utilized to compensate the internal electric field so that a difference between the first compensation voltage and the common voltage is equal to a difference between the second compensation voltage and the common voltage. Charge accumulation is formed intentionally, and then the first compensation voltage and the second compensation voltage are provided to correctly display images.

In one embodiment, the invention is operable as part of a compressed media format having a set of small files containing metadata, menus, and playlists in a compiled binary format designed for playback on feature-rich personal computer media players as well as low cost media players.

When entering into the touch semi-lock state, a predefined hot menu including items and a touch-lock icon are provided on a touch screen. LEDs (1) are two-dimensionally formed on an insulating substrate (10) of e.g., sapphire monolithically and connected in series to form an LED array. Two such LED arrays are connected to electrodes (32) in inverse parallel. Air-bridge wiring (28) is formed between the LEDs (1) and between the LEDs (1) and electrodes (32). The LED arrays are arranged zigzag to form a plurality of LEDs (1) to produce a high drive voltage and a small drive current. Abstract: [PROBLEM] There is provided a method for regenerating a filter, by which deterioration of the color tone of purified acrylic acid can be prevented. [SOLUTION] There is provided a method for regenerating a filter which has been used in a filtration step in the process for producing an acrylic acid, comprising a step (A) wherein the filter is washed with an aqueous alkaline solution, a step (B) wherein the filter is washed with water after the step (A) , and a step (C) wherein the filter is brought into contact with the acrylic acid for regeneration for at least one hour after the step (B).

Abstract: Sodium silicate solutions of modulus 3.0 to 3.8 are provided. In some embodiments, the solution is made by a process that uses two specific principal reaction stages. A sodium silicate solution having a low SiO2:Na2O molar ratio, in the range from 2.0 to 2.8, is first produced by reaction of the SSS, as a cost-effective SiO2 source, with aqueous caustic soda. The conversion of this intermediate sodium silicate solution of low modulus to a high SiO2:Na2O molar ratio is made possible by using a SiO2 source that is prepared as precipitated amorphous silica from the intermediate sodium silicate solution produced above.
