Abstract: An adjustable chair support system includes a first seat back support member spaced from a second seat back support member, and a seat back tensioning assembly that extends between the first and second seat back support members. The seat back tensioning assembly includes a carrier coupled to the first seat back support member, the carrier including an adjustable tension member and a first guide member, a pair of second guide members coupled to the second seat back support member, and a cable extending from the adjustable tension member into engagement with one of the pair of second guide members, with the first guide member, with the other of the pair of second guide members, and then returning to the adjustable tension member.

Abstract: The disclosed adjustable backrest provides a plurality of generally horizontal straps arranged from the top to the bottom of the rigid back shell to provide anterior to posterior support and comfort for a patient. Generally speaking, the generally horizontal straps provide variably adjustable tension straps that allow for precise positioning of the patient to reduce or remove pressure points from the patient's thoracic to sacrum region.

Abstract: A moldable seating system for use with a cushion comprising a moldable seat base and a moldable backrest. The moldable seat base comprises a central portion and a perimeter having a plurality of individually adjustable fingers extending there from. The moldable backrest comprises a moldable center backrest portion and a head support portion. The sides of the moldable center backrest portion comprise a plurality of individually adjustable fingers extending there from. Each of the individual fingers of the moldable seat base and the moldable backrest may be further divided into individually adjustable sections.

Abstract: The apparatus for mounting a wheelchair pad provides a high degree of support and adjustability such that it can be used with wheelchairs from a wide variety of different manufacturers. This adjustability is also beneficial to the occupant of the wheelchair, as the adjustability can provide a wide variety of people with a more custom fit. In order to provide this custom fit, the claimed invention provides for depth adjustability, height adjustability and angle adjustability in both the vertical and horizontal planes of the amputee pad. Additionally the claimed invention can be installed on either side of the wheelchair.

In order to provide this custom fit, the present invention provide for depth adjustability, height adjustability and angle adjustability of a wheelchair back. The present invention also provides the convenience of a quick-release wheelchair back so that the wheelchair occupant can easily remove the back of the wheelchair from the canes so that the wheelchair can be collapsed and stored. The present mounting system also provides a two point mounting system that is reliable yet simple to use.
