Abstract: A system is provided for shoreline stabilization having at least five rectangular shoreline stabilization devices; wherein a first two of the devices are arranged on opposite sides of a line running perpendicular to the first two devices; at least one of the devices is positioned perpendicular to and on top or in between the first two devices, and atop the line; and wherein a second two of the devices are each positioned at an angle relative to the first two devices to provide two angled devices, with a first end on top of one of the first two devices and a second end resting on at least one of the perpendicular devices to form an angle between a slope of between about 1.5:1 and 2:1, wherein the two angled devices are not resting on the same one of the first two devices.

Abstract: Phosphorus-free or low phosphorus fertilizer compositions containing a polyamino acid salt. The fertilizer formulations disclosed herein contain a nitrogen source, a potassium source, a polyamino acid salt and in some cases a low level source of phosphorus. The compositions may be in the form dry homogeneous blends and may be carried in liquid for application to surface or subsurface areas by conventional liquid fertilizer applying equipment.

Abstract: An apparatus for injecting fluid under pressure into trees having a base and a plurality of cylinders supported by the base for receiving injection fluid. Each cylinder has a first end, a piston reciprocable in the cylinder for injecting fluid from the cylinder into a tree, an opening when the piston is moved to a position away from the first end of the cylinder, and an independent injector. Each cylinder also includes an actuator connected to the piston for moving the piston toward and away from the first end, and having an adjustor for selecting the amount of fluid to be injected. First and second conduits are connected to the first end of the cylinders. The first conduits are in communication with a reservoir of injection fluid and the second conduits are in communication with the injectors. A plurality of third conduits are also included, and are in communication with the cylinders when the piston is moved to a location away from the first end. The third conduits are in communication with the reservoir.

Abstract: A volume proportioning system includes a pressurized supply of a primary carrier liquid, one or more sources of concentrate, a proportioning interconnection between the carrier liquid and the sources of concentrate by which the proportions are controlled regardless of the flow rate or pressure of the carrier liquid, in which the carrier liquid also provides the motive power for moving the concentrate and the carrier liquid itself to an operator controlled discharge point, the discharge being infinitely variable under the control of an operator.
