Abstract: A material handling apparatus includes a support portion having a beam, a wheel disposed on one side of the beam, and a wheel bracket disposed on an opposing side of the beam. The wheel bracket has two legs and a yoke, and is disposed with the legs against the beam to define a gap between the beam and the yoke. The beam and wheel bracket each include a defined pattern of identically arranged holes, a first set arranged on a square pattern, a second set arranged on rectangular non-square pattern, and a third set arranged on a rectangular pattern similar to that of the second set but oriented ninety degrees to the second set. The wheel bracket is disposed having its defined pattern of holes aligned with the defined pattern of holes in the beam. The wheel, beam and wheel bracket are attached by fasteners passing through one set of holes and traversing the gap.

Abstract: In a preferred embodiment, a handle retainer for a container having a handle extending from a surface of the container when the handle is in a carrying position, the handle retainer including: a boss disposed on the container; and the boss and a distal end of the handle having complementarily sloped surfaces such that, when the complementarily sloped surfaces are co-engaged, the handle will be retained closely adjacent the surface in a non-carrying position.

Abstract: In a preferred embodiment, a one-piece cabinet base, including: a horizontal, generally rectangular, planar, cabinet receiving surface on which to place a cabinet; vertical supports at either end of the horizontal surface, formed of one piece with the horizontal surface and depending therefrom; and horizontal base plates at lower ends of the vertical supports and formed of one piece with the vertical supports.

Abstract: A a cabinet with a sliding drawer, including: a housing; two opposing outer slides attached to inner surfaces of opposite sides of the housing; two inner slides attached to the sliding drawer and disposed in and telescopingly engaging the outer slides; and two first rollers contacting the inner slides and having their axes attached to the sides of the housing, with the axes of the first rollers spaced below a lower edge of the outer slide. Further, a cabinet with a sliding drawer, including: a housing having opposite side panels and front and rear ends; two opposing slide mechanisms attached to inner surfaces of the side panels and to sides of the sliding drawer; and the slide mechanisms being downwardly sloped from the front end of the housing toward the rear of the housing a degree sufficient to compensate for sagging from horizontal the sliding drawer may experience when extended from the housing.

Abstract: A cabinet, including: a generally hollow, rectilinear housing having opposite sides and top, back, and bottom walls; the side panels having rearwardly facing U-shaped channels formed along front edges thereof; and inner side panels attachable to the side panels by insertion of front edges thereof into the U-shaped channels and rotating the inner panels about the U-shaped channels to parallel proximity with inner surfaces of the side panels and being removably secured in such position.

Abstract: A rack for dispensing material from a spool rotatingly mounted on a rod, the rack including: vertical left and right side members; structure to join the left and right side members; slots defined in the left and right side members to accept ends of the rod so as to support the rod in the rack; and the left and right side members being symmetrical such that the left and right side members are interchangeable.
