Abstract: A pocket on a bag is operable between a collapsed configuration, in which the pocket overlies the bag, and an expanded configuration, in which the pocket opens to form a cavity for holding a water bottle or other items. The pocket and the bag each comprise a pair of attachment devices that are automatically or magnetically attached to each other when the pocket is in the collapsed configuration. The pocket includes a collapsible panel secured to the bag and that is adapted to collapse when the pocket is moved to the collapsed configuration.

Abstract: A side flap for covering a gap in a bag is provided for reducing or eliminating environmental elements from entering the bag through the gap between a cover and a mouth of the bag, and for containing contents within the bag. The side flap includes an attachment device that automatically attaches to a corresponding attachment device on the bag when the cover is moved from an open position to a closed position. The attachment device automatically detaches from the corresponding attachment device when the cover is moved from the closed position to the open position.

Abstract: A computer tote, such as, for example, a portfolio, case or bag, is provided having a receptacle defining an internal space to receive a computer device. The receptacle includes opposing sides connected by a spine. The computer tote further includes a handle coupled to one of the opposing sides of the receptacle near the spine. The handle is sized and positioned to overlie a back of a user's hand when the hand is received between the handle and the receptacle and fingers of the hand are wrapped around the spine.

The bag assembly comprises a front panel, a rear panel, a left side panel, a right side panel, a bottom panel, and a cover panel. The bag assembly defines a bag opening and a connection pocket. The flap defines first and second flap surfaces. The flap may be in one of a first attached configuration, a second attached configuration, and a detached configuration. When in either of the first and second attached configurations, the flap may be moved between a closed configuration and an open configuration. When in one of the attached configurations, either the first or second flap surface is visible when the flap is in the closed configuration. When the flap is in either of the first or the second attached configurations, the first connection system is substantially located within the connection pocket.

Abstract: A protective device for a video player comprising a video screen, comprising a structure defining a main chamber, a support opening, and a screen opening. The protective device operates in first and second modes. In the first mode, at least a portion of the video player is located within the main chamber such that the video screen is within the main chamber. The structure protects the video player the video screen is at least partly visible through the screen opening when the protective device is in the first mode. In the second mode, at least a portion of the video player extends through the support opening such that the structure supports the video player such that the video screen is located outside the main chamber.

The flap defines first and second flap surfaces. The flap may be in one of a first attached configuration, a second attached configuration, and a detached configuration. When in either of the first and second attached configurations, the flap may be moved between a closed configuration and an open configuration. When in one of the attached configurations, either the first or second flap surface is visible when the flap is in the closed configuration. When the flap is in either of the first or the second attached configurations, the first connection system is substantially located within the connection pocket.

Abstract: A system for a carrying an item comprises an inner sleeve assembly comprising first and second side panel assemblies and a perimeter panel assembly joined to define a sleeve chamber. The perimeter panel assembly comprises a first resilient member, a second resilient member, and a first elastic member. The first elastic member is arranged to apply a first bias force on the second resilient member to deform the second resilient member. The second resilient member applies a first sleeve chamber force on the first resilient member when the first elastic member deforms the second resilient member. When the item is inserted into the sleeve chamber, the first sleeve chamber force causes the first resilient member to engage the item, thereby holding the item in place within the sleeve chamber.

Abstract: Methods and wheel assemblies for supporting a bag that is tilted and pulled along a surface. A wheel housing, a strut member, a spring member, and a wheel member are provided. The wheel housing is rigidly attached to a bottom edge of the bag. The strut member is mounted within the housing for movement between first and second positions. The spring member is arranged between the wheel housing and the strut member to oppose movement of the strut member from the first position to the second position. The wheel member is rotatably attached to the strut member such that at least a portion of the wheel member extends out of the wheel housing as the strut member moves between the first and second positions. The wheel member engages the surface and rotates to allow the bag to roll along the surface when the bag is tilted and pulled. The strut member is substantially vertically aligned when the bag is tilted and pulled and when the strut member moves between the first and second positions.
