Abstract: A method of setting hair in a predetermined condition, either straightened or curled, which comprises coating the hair with a heat-settable composition containing a hardening and adhesive agent in aqueous media, either with or without the addition of separate water-proofing agents, flame-retardant agents, softening agents, and the like, and then applying heat to the coated hair to set the coated hair in the selected condition.
