Abstract: An underwater retrieval game system employs a submersible target having a combination of features that make it difficult to locate underwater. The body portion of the submersible target is translucent and has a density greater than water. The target may be tossed in a swimming pool and sink to the bottom. A game player may jump into the water and try to locate the target. A combination of additional features such as size, shape, and surface texture may make it more difficult to spot the target underwater. A submersible target may comprise a detection device, such as a small light, that is activated after a certain period of time or is activated remotely by a wireless signal. A game player may be challenged to find the targets before the detection device is activated, for example.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a tool for cutting or crimping a tensioned cable in a medical procedure. The tool comprises a cable forming assembly that is coupled with an inner shaft. The cable forming assembly comprises a cable former. The tool additionally comprises a central channel, which extends through the inner shaft, an outer tube within which the inner shaft is positioned, and the cable forming assembly along an entire length of each one of the inner shaft, the outer tube, and the cable forming assembly. The central channel is configured to receive and support the tensioned cable in-line with the tool. The cable former is actuatable to cut or crimp the tensioned cable when the tensioned cable passes through the central channel. Translational movement of the outer tube along the inner shaft in an engagement direction actuates the cable former to cut or crimp the tensioned cable.

The intervertebral disc implant may be intraoperatively and postoperatively filled and/or re-filled with a growth matrix. The intervertebral disc implant may be differentially permeable to the growth matrix to provide directional growth and/or diffusion of the growth matrix to restore height to the intervertebral disc space. Systems and methods may further comprise an implant delivery device for deploying the intervertebral disc implant into the intervertebral disc space.
