Abstract: A slide chart in which the sleeve and the slide have mutually engaging flaps which click past one another upon insertion of the slide into the sleeve but engage to prevent withdrawal of the slide from the sleeve.

Abstract: A pop-up card in which the cutout portion of the front part is attached to a slide panel which extends the full width of the card and can be liberated by removal of a tear-away strip so that the slide panel can pull the cutout portion into its erect position. This arrangement eliminates the need for especially providing stationary rails to guide the cutout portion.

Abstract: A disk is mounted upon a substrate of sheet material with a separate piece also of sheet material secured to the substrate and having at least a pair of strips overhanging the disk and of a length sufficient to lie flat thereagainst. The strips define a number of points at which the inner circumference of the disk is engaged and with a spacing a=Dsin (180.degree./n).+-.25% where D is the diameter of the opening and n is the number of disk overhanging strips. When two strips are provided the applicable formula is a=Dsin (180.degree./4).+-.25% where D is said diameter of said opening.

Abstract: A rotatable wheel assembly which is suited for use as a wheel calculator, including a wheel having an axial hole therein and bearing indicia on one of its faces, front and back covers between which the wheel is sandwiched, the front cover having a window opening therein for selective viewing of the indicia on the wheel face, and the back cover and the front cover being adhesively bonded to each other through the hole in the wheel, the bond providing a grommetless pivot or axle for the wheel. To inhibit contact between the adhesive bond and the wheel while maximizing the width of the axle relative to the size of the hole in the wheel, a mask having a hole therein which is of substantially the same size as, but not greater than, the hole in the wheel, is interposed between the back cover member and the wheel with the two holes axially aligned with each other.

Abstract: An accordion folded sheet is anchored between covers and can be drawn out from between the covers by providing a notch or other opening along a free edge of one of the covers, preferably in conjunction with another notch or set back edge of the other cover so that a grippable portion of the sheet can be engaged between the thumb and forefinger of the user to facilitate extraction of the sheet and unfolding thereof as it is drawn from between the covers. The booklet is preferably of wallet size.

A marginal portion provided on one of the leaf members enables the sheet to be secured by adhesive or other suitable form of attachment to a newspaper or magazine, a package container, or a package label. In various embodiments of the invention an information readout is provided on reverse sides of the calculator including one embodiment wherein the printed format of the slide and sleeve components is applied to one surface only of the respective leaf member.

Abstract: The rotatable wheel assembly includes a wheel member rotatably sandwiched between a pair of cover members. Grommetless securing means are provided on at least one of the cover members for securing it to the other cover member through an axial opening in the wheel member. The grommetless securing means, which in one embodiment constitute an adhesive patch formed on at least one of the cover members, also function as a pivot for rotation of the wheel member with respect to the cover members. In other embodiments of the invention, the grommetless securing means comprise an adhesive patch member, which can be formed as an appendage to one of the cover members, that spans an opening in one of the cover members to adhere to the other cover member through the axial wheel opening.

Abstract: The game includes at least one envelope, each envelope having a first face and a second face. Each face is provided with at least one window therein. Associated with at least one window on each face are sets of indicia. A slide is movably retained within each envelope and has printed thereon different sets of indicia. A player positions a marker on the slide which appears in a window in the first face of one envelope adjacent one of the indicia associated with the window which corresponds to a particular action or move in the game being played. This reveals in a window in the first face instructions to position a marker on the slide adjacent a particular indicium on the second face of the one envelope or a second envelope called for in the instruction. When the marker is so positioned the succeeding action is displayed in a window on the second face. In addition, instructions appear as to the position into which the marker on the first face is to be moved and the game continues accordingly.
