Abstract: An information graphic displayable via an electronic user interface to integrate information from accounts held at a financial institution. In one embodiment, the information graphic includes a first graphic element to display first information associated with at least one first account and a second graphic element to display second information associated with at least one second account. A dimension of the first graphic element is representative of the first information and a dimension of the second graphic element is representative of the second information. A first portion of the second graphic element is selectable to alternately virtually hide and display a second portion of the second graphic element.

Abstract: In order to front mount the faucet assembly on the sink, the connectors that are secured to the inlet ports are passed through enlarged openings in the splash board and the body of the faucet assembly is secured to the splash board via brackets. Abstract: Devices and methods for conducting pipeline inspecting operations are disclosed. Abstract: A system for a pallet truck load wheel mechanism comprises a logic device and first and second sensor arrangements. The first and second sensor arrangements include first and second sensing fields that define first and second edges of an operability window, respectively. The logic device has an operable state indicating that the load wheel mechanism can raise a pallet lifting device and an inoperable state indicating that the load wheel mechanism should not raise the pallet lifting device. Abstract: A system includes a sensor attached to an individual and detects an individual's improper body movements that increase injury risk. The system includes a safety tag with an accelerometer that measures proper acceleration. Proper acceleration along multiple directions are projected onto multiple 2-D planes, generating acceleration vectors. Phasor angles of the acceleration vectors are calculated, and if the spread in phasor angles for any one 2-D plane within a moving time window exceeds a threshold, the system determines that the individual has made an improper body movement.

Abstract: A profiling saw with band knife loop take-up and payoff compensation includes an endless circulating band knife which is guided around a plurality of band knife pulleys so the take-up and payoff adjustment is provided of the loop circulation path shape. Abstract: A session quality system collects and evaluates data from multiple user world wide web (“web”) product selection sessions and correlates the collected data with actual product purchases. The system assembles the data into a set of session profiles and assigns a score to each profile that represents a relative likelihood of purchasing the product. The system matches session data collected from future product selection sessions with a master profile. A weighted average of scores based on matched master profiles provides useful product demand information. Furthermore, the system can determine product demand with varying ranges of resolution. For example, the system can capture specific features of each product, such as color, audio system selections, and wheel types. Since these features can be common across multiple products, manufactures can expand their use of the high resolution product demand information.
Abstract: An intelligent light bulb is provided as well as a method, devices and computer program product of configuring such an intelligent light bulb. The intelligent light bulb comprises an LED lighting element and a programmable controller. The programmable controller comprises a memory module having stored therein firmware including instructions for controlling operations of the LED lighting element, where the memory module including a passive memory on which at least a portion of the firmware is stored. The passive memory component of the memory module is responsive to a signal carrying firmware update information received over a wireless communication link from a device external to the intelligent light bulb for causing a firmware update process to be performed to modify the instructions of the firmware based on the update information carried by the signal.
Abstract: An unpriced order auction and related market center and process are disclosed which allow posting market centers (e.g., exchanges) to schedule an auction that includes unpriced (Market) orders only. Such unpriced order auction executes at the midpoint of the NBBO, ensuring that the cross reflects the best prices in the entire marketplace, while discouraging the manipulation of the auction price on the posting market center. The disclosed auction also executes concurrently, but separately from the regular continuous matching process.

Abstract: A hot stamp cell has a source of blanks, an oven to elevate the temperature of the blank, and a press to form the blank to the required shape. The oven has a pair of access doors located on opposite sides. A first robot is provided to move a blank from the source to the oven through one of the doors and a further robot provided to remove the blank from the oven through the other door. Each of the robots has a material handling tool that includes a fork with tines to carry a blank and a gripping mechanism to secure the blank to the tines. The floor of the oven has a support surface to allow stable support of the blank during heating. The floor is provided with channels extending between the doors dimensioned to receive the tines. The channels permit placement of the blank on to the surface by lowering of the fork and subsequent removal of the fork from the oven.

Abstract: A pipe for connecting to a similar adjacent pipe. The pipe has a male end with a plurality of rigid fingers extending from within and out of at least one exterior circumferential groove disposed on its exterior surface. On the female end is at least one interior circumferential groove sized and positioned to receive the plurality of rigid fingers from a corresponding exterior circumferential groove on the male end of an adjacent pipe. The number of exterior circumferential grooves on the male end typically corresponds to the number of interior circumferential grooves on the female end. When the male end of the pipe inserts into the female end of a similar adjacent pipe, the plurality of rigid fingers is received within a corresponding interior circumferential groove on the female end, thereby preventing the male end of the pipe from being withdrawn from the female end of the similar adjacent pipe.
Abstract: One embodiment of the invention is method of inhibiting the shuttle effect by preventing migration of selenium or metal selenide ions from a cathode to an anode of an alkali metal-selenium battery, the method comprising: (a) combining an anode active material layer, a cathode active material layer, an electrically insulating porous separator disposed between the anode active material layer and the cathode active material layer, and electrolyte to form an alkali metal-selenium battery cell, and (b) implementing a porous trapping layer, having a thickness from 5 nm to 100 ?m, between the cathode active material layer and the electrically insulating porous separator to trap selenium or metal selenide ions that are dissolved in the electrolyte from the cathode active material layer. Such a method enables the formation of an alkali metal-selenium battery exhibiting a long cycle life.

In one embodiment, an ionization air purification system for the passenger cabin of a vehicle is disclosed. The system includes an ionization device for purifying the air prior to entering into the passenger cabin of the vehicle while minimizing the production of ozone as a by-product; and means for modifying the degree of ionization by modifying the energy levels applied to the ionization tube or ionization source proportional to the change in air flow dynamics or air quality.
