  • Patent number: 9174768
Abstract: A fabrication machine is disclosed herein. In various aspects, the fabrication machine includes a brake adapted to mechanically cooperate with a wrapper to impart a longitudinal tension to the wrapper by controlling the force required to advance the wrapper, the wrapper comprised of a cellulose-based material. The brake is adjustable to allow selection of longitudinal tension in the wrapper, in various aspects. Various aspects may include a wrapper roll in mechanical cooperation with the brake, the wrapper being drawn from the wrapper roll as the wrapper is advanced. The fabrication machine secures the wrapper at the selected tension about the core to form a structural member, in various aspects. Methods of use of the fabrication machine are disclosed herein. This Abstract is presented to meet requirements of 37 C.F.R. ยง1.72(b) only. This Abstract is not intended to identify key elements of the apparatus and methods disclosed herein or to delineate the scope thereof.

  • Patent number: 8602651
Abstract: A flexible shipping bag may be turned inside out to make a stylish cosmetic bag. Sealing flaps permit closing the flexible shipping bag. Sealing-flap top segments may be cut-off to open the flexible shipping bag and these fold into the flexible shipping bag when the flexible shipping bag is turned inside out. Cosmetic flaps are attached inside the flexible shipping bag below the sealing flaps. These invert and become visible when the flexible shipping bag is turned inside out. A zipper to close the cosmetic bag is attached to top edges of cosmetic flaps below the point where the top segment is cut off. Once the flexible shipping bag is turned inside out, the zipper is positioned below the top edge of, and inside, the cosmetic bag and the cosmetic-flap bottom edge is positioned at the top of the cosmetic bag to provide a finished edge.

  • Publication number: 20070029703
Abstract: An adjustable baking form includes a strip of malleable material forming a series of longitudinally extending discrete links. Each link includes a wall section and a base section extending transversely from the wall section. The base sections are bent generally perpendicularly to the respective wall sections and the wall sections are bent relative to one another to hand-manipulate the strip into a desired shape. When opposite ends of the strip are brought together, the links cooperatively form a baking vessel. Baking a cake includes providing a roll forming a series of discrete links and manipulating the roll to a desired shape. The first and second ends of the roll are joined to form the baking vessel having the desired shape. A resultant cake is obtained in the shape of the baking vessel after placing the baking vessel on a baking pan and pouring batter into the baking vessel.
