    Abstract: A cargo hatch cover actuation mechanism. At least one fixed unilateral mechanical actuator is mounted on a cargo hatch cover panel. The actuator is driven by an electric motor, and controlled by a hand controller, attached to the end of a flexible electrical cable which can be moved about to any suitable position near the hatch.
