Abstract: Embodiments describe approaches to creating dynamic data views of a data set. A dynamic data views (also referred to as logical data models or logical conveyances) allows users to visualize data or otherwise interact with data from a plurality of data resources (also referred to as physical data or source data) from various datastores across a domain (e.g., an enterprise, a unit within the enterprise, a company, etc.) Multiple dynamic data views can be derived from the same set of physical data and customized to meet the specific needs of different users, without altering the source data or changing its format or storage location. These data views can be generated, stored, and accessed on demand, and may be provided by various vendors. They may be shared, purchased, rented, or otherwise obtained, and may be based on one or more metrics that can be updated as necessary.
