Patent number: 4829169Abstract: An IC card including a control section and a writable memory, wherein the memory is provided with an index section and a storage area section for recording data. Storage areas are allocated in the memory by use of indices, namely, parameters including a start address of each storage area, a number of records, and a record length are written in each index and the control section calculates an address of each storage area by use of the parameters according to an address calculation program.Type: GrantFiled: June 27, 1986Date of Patent: May 9, 1989Assignee: Toppan Moore Company, Inc.Inventor: Hiroshi Watanabe

Patent number: 4422556Abstract: An improved receptacle for storing articles and hanging clothing, the receptacle being used in a changeroom with a system having means for moving the receptacle between a lowered position of accessibility and an elevated position of inaccessibility. The improved receptacle includes a basket member for storing articles and a bail-like handle member which is of substantially inverted U-shaped configuration and provided with clothes supporting hooks. The handle member is arranged to be attached to the means for elevating or lowering the receptacle. The basket is movable relative to the bail-like handle member and is adapted to be supported by the bail-like handle member so that the clothes hooks carried by the bail-like handle member are free of loads from the basket member.Type: GrantFiled: February 2, 1981Date of Patent: December 27, 1983Assignee: The Moore Company, Inc.Inventor: Junius T. Patent number: 4234833Abstract: The shaft driven by a reversible motor for opening and closing a door is provided with at least one reflective surface. An optical source/detector senses rotation of the shaft and generates a pulse each time one of the reflective surfaces passes. A programmable counter circuit counts the pulses in one direction when the door is opened and de-energizes the motor when a predetermined count is reached without the use of mechanical switches. The counter is decremented when the door is closed, and de-energizes the motor when the count returns to zero. Any obstruction will cause the system to stop the door if sensed during opening, or to reverse the door's direction if sensed during closing. Provision is made to account for any "coasting" the door may experience due to inertia; and the system will also track and permit small changes in the closed position of the door, as might occur if snow accumulates beneath the door.Type: GrantFiled: January 19, 1978Date of Patent: November 18, 1980Assignee: A. E. Moore Company, Inc.Inventor: Jack E. J. Barrett

Patent number: 4057211Abstract: An improved safety system or apparatus for raising, lowering, and supporting in an elevated or lowered position a weighted article from an overhead support. The system or apparatus includes a safety pulley member having a pulley sheave over which a link chain passes, the link chain having one end connected to the weighted article and the other end connected to an attachment means positioned within reach of a person so that the person may pull the link chain downwardly to raise the weighted article to a desired elevation out of reach, the link chain then being locked to the attachment means. The weighted article may be a clothes basket, other receptacle, or any other article in which it is desired to suspend overhead.Type: GrantFiled: February 13, 1976Date of Patent: November 8, 1977Assignee: The Moore Company, Inc.Inventor: Junius Thomas Moore
