The flanges define supports for the package in angularly intersecting planes so that the package will stand stably in at least two different orientations. The opening of the blister may be arranged to provide access to the space within the blister from two sides, thus facilitating removal of the product from the blister.

Abstract: Method of producing a moulded bottle having means which determines the relationship between the bottle body and the annular position of the finish thereof or associated means, such as a closure cap, pouring spout, delivery pump, or any other desired appurtenance, that is mountable upon the finish of the blown bottle in a predetermined annular position.
