Patents Assigned to The Pack Kabushiki Kaisha
  • Patent number: 5817427
Abstract: The invention has for its object to provide a titanium oxide-containing paper possessed of satisfactory deodorizing power and well protected against aging of paper, a corrugated board fabricated from the titanium oxide-containing paper, and a deodorizing element constructed using the corrugated board. The titanium oxide-containing paper comprises an ultrafine particulate titanium oxide with an X-ray particle diameter of not larger than 100 nm (T) or a modified ultrafine particulate titanium oxide available on surface-modification of (T) with a metal or a metal compound (T'), at least one inorganic filler (F) selected from the group consisting of sepiolite, silica gel, bentonite, zeolite, magnesium sulfate, asbestos, and active carbon for supporting the titanium oxide (T) or (T'), and an organic fiber material amenable to web formation by papermaking machine. The deodorizing element is constructed by stacking up a multiplicity of units of the above-mentioned corrugated board.

  • Patent number: 5275855
Abstract: Stripping paper which serves as a member for protecting the adhesive of an adhesive sheet is capable of being recycled and effectively used as a material of regenerated paper after stripped when the adhesive sheet is used, and permits beautiful printing thereon. It also provides an adhesive sheet having the stripping paper attached thereto and exhibiting new additional printing effects. In the stripping paper comprising a substrate 10, a coating layer of mineral substance 12 and a silicone film layer 13, the substrate 10 is made of relatively long fiber material, the coating layer 12 provides a smooth surface suitable for application of printing on the substrate 10 and comprises relatively fine mineral particles 11 to substantially prevent infiltration of the silicone 13a into the substrate (FIG. 1).

  • Patent number: 5265962
Abstract: A packing bag comprises a flat main body made of a synthetic resin film or sheet, sleeves formed around a top end of the main body and each divided into upper and lower chambers, and drawstrings each inserted in the respective chambers of each sleeve. A plurality of engaging portions in the form of knurled indentations are formed between the upper and lower chambers and below the lower chambers so that an increased friction and a reduced stiffness are imparted to the sleeve, in such manner that after the top end portions are gathered by pulling the drawstrings in opposite directions, the increased friction and reduced stiffness prevent the top end from opening unintentionally due to a possible resilient restoration of its ungathered state.
