Abstract: A juicer includes a reservoir with a spout and an annular rim having an extended portion with at least two holes. An extractor having an upright convex extracting dome is surrounded by an annular trough having openings therethrough. The extractor has a strainer element and is removably seated on the annular rim of the reservoir. The extractor has at least one peg that can mate with the at least two holes in at least two positions. The strainer element covers the spout when the peg is mated with one of the holes in a first position. The strainer element does not cover the spout when the peg is mated with another of the holes in a second position. When mated, the extractor cannot rotated relative to the reservoir. A resilient, elastomeric foot on the reservoir prevents rotation of the reservoir relative to a supporting surface.

Abstract: A consolidated pastry forming apparatus is provided that incorporates a separatable roller tool and a finishing tool. The roller tool includes a handle, a first pair of fork arms at one handle end, and a second pair of fork arms at the other handle end. A first cylindrical dough roller is mounted to the first pair of fork arms and a second convex dough roller is mounted to the second pair of fork arms. The finishing tool is removably attachable to the handle. The finishing tool is unitarily formed and somewhat elongated, and includes at one end thereof a plurality of tines suitable for puncturing a pastry crust, and at the other end thereof a protrusion suitable for crimping a pastry crust.
Abstract: A reversible indicator tab is provided for a carafe of the type having a lever with a free end extending therefrom. The indicator tab includes a hollow cap having a top wall, a bottom wall, and a pair of side walls. The top and bottom walls are spaced apart and are connected to the side walls. The side walls are spaced apart and are connected to the top and bottom walls. The walls define at least one open end sized to receive the free end of the lever. The lever is receivable in at least two different orientations relative to the top wall. The top wall is readily visually distinguishable from the bottom wall by color.
Abstract: A grapefruit knife for use in cutting sections of edible fruit from the less desirable membrane and peel is disclosed. The present invention includes a handle having two opposing ends, a single cutting blade attached to one end of the handle, and a scooping blade attached to the other end of the handle. Each of these blades has two cutting edges. On the cutting blade the two cutting edges are aligned serially, in a plane, to cut in the same direction, while on the scooping blade the cutting edges are opposingly arranged.
