Abstract: An automatic dishwashing detergent composition comprising: a. at least 0.1 mg of active protease per gram of composition, wherein the protease is a variant of a protease that has at least 70% identity with the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:1. wherein said variant comprise variations in one or more of the following positions: 32, 33, 48-54, 58-62, 94-107, 116, 123-133, 150, 152-156, 158-161, 164, 169, 175-186, 197, 198, 203-216 as compared with the protease in SEQ ID NO:1; and b. at least 0.05 mg of an active low temperature amylase per gram of composition.
Abstract: A valve for an aerosol dispenser. The valve has a housing as a chassis for other components of the valve. The housing perimetrically joins the valve to an outer container for the aerosol dispenser. The housing has a hole with a moving valve stem to selectively dispense product, upon actuation. The housing, or portions thereof, may be crystallized, to provide strength and dimensional stability, to reduce leakage.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a closure for a container, the closure comprising three positions. The invention further relates to a kit of parts for assembling such a closure. The present invention relates to a closure comprising an engine and a shroud, the closure adapted to attach to the opening of a container to define an interior and an outside; wherein the shroud and engine are adapted to engage; wherein the closure can take a first position, a second position and a third position, wherein: a. the shroud moves relative to the engine in a linear fashion and a different minimum force is required to move the closure from the first position to the second position than to move the closure from the second position to the first position; or b. the shroud moves relative to the engine in a linear fashion and a different minimum force is required to move the closure from the second position to the third position than to move the closure from the third position to the second position; or c. both a. and b.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to methods and apparatuses configured to bond elastic laminates together between a rotating drum and anvil. The drum includes a fluid nozzle and a press member. As such, a first elastic laminate and a second elastics laminate may be advanced in a machine direction onto the rotating drum. A fluid is heated to a temperature sufficient to partially melt substrate layers of the first and second elastic laminates. As the drum rotates, the press member shifts radially outward from the drum wherein a length, L, of the pattern surface extends in the cross direction across a plurality of elastic strands of first and/or second elastic laminates. And the partially melted portion of the substrate layers of the first and second elastic laminates and the plurality of elastic strands are then bonded together by being compressed between the pattern surface and the anvil roll.

Abstract: In methods of making disposable, flexible containers for fluent products, methods of sealing the flexible containers when such containers include expansion materials, are disclosed. The methods include forming a partially completed container blank that has layers of flexible materials. The layered structure includes a first space for a fluent product, and a second space for an expansion material. The methods of sealing the flexible containers include adding an expansion material into the second space and pressing parts of at least some of the layers together to close off the second space.

Abstract: An aerosol dispenser, an outer container for an aerosol dispenser, and a preform for an outer container. The aerosol dispenser, outer container, and preform each have a neck including a crimp ring. The crimp ring may be configured to receive a valve cup, which is clinched thereto. The crimp ring includes one or more vents. The vents may be used to control overpressurization within the dispenser. The vents may be exposed to pressurized propellant and product due to deformation of the neck during undue overpressurization. The vents allow propellant and/or product to be released therethrough in the event of overpressurization.

Abstract: A method of treating the hair including providing a concentrated hair care composition in a foam dispenser. The concentrated hair care composition includes one or more silicones, perfume, and less than 6% high melting point fatty compounds. The method also includes dispensing the concentrated hair care composition from the foam dispenser as a dosage of foam; applying the foam to the hair; and rinsing the foam from the hair. The foam has a density of from about 0.025 g/cm3 to about 0.40 g/cm3 when dispensed from the foam dispenser. The one or more silicones form a silicone layer that has a Targeted Deposition Index of from about 0.8 to about 1.6.
