Abstract: A radio frequency transmitter of the type that is adapted to be powered from an internal battery power source, or from an external power supply that is connected to the transmitter by an electrical conductor, which conductor acts as a part of the antenna system for such transmitter and increases the strength of the signal radiated by the transmitter when the transmitter is powered from the external power supply, and which includes a circuit for reducing the power output of the transmitter, when the transmitter is connected to the external power supply.
Abstract: Apparatus for propelling an object along a surface only when the apparatus is positioned closely adjacent the surface and for inhibiting the object from being propelled when the apparatus is lifted from the surface, includes a magazine for holding a plurality of objects, means for releasing an object from the magazine into a launching position supported on the surface, and hammer means for propelling the object along the surface.

Abstract: A domino type game is provided having game interlocking pieces formed with matching shapes rather than number dot patterns. In accordance with a preferred aspect of this invention, a playing piece is provided that has a stepped configuration with two generally flat engaging portions lying in two spaced apart planes and joined by a web. An upstanding post having a regular shape is mounted on one surface of one engaging portion, and a socket extends through the other engaging portion to the opposite surface. In at least some of the pieces, the shape of the post and the shape of the socket are different, so that a chain of shaped dominoes may be formed as a game.
Abstract: A baby playpen-bassinet combination is disclosed in which the playpen has a bottom and four sides extending upwardly from the bottom, with one edge portion of the side secured to the bottom, and the opposite edge portions free. A bassinet is releasably mountable on the opposite free edge portions of the playpen for locating the bassinet in a more accessible position, requiring less bending and lifting in handling a baby for naps, diaper changing and dressing.
Abstract: A tent is disclosed having movable tent poles for supporting a flexible tent body. An apex junction member is provided for pivotally supporting one of the ends of each of the tent poles, the opposite ends of which are held in a fixed position. A tensioning member is provided movable between a normal position in which the tent is collapsed with the tent poles parallel and adjacent to each other, and a tensioned position for tensioning the tent poles in a splayed apart configuration for placing the tent body in an erect position. A latch member is provided for releasably latching the tensioning member in its tensioned position and the tent in its erect position.
Abstract: High-temperature, low-moisture partial gelatinization of oat groats, having a moisture level between 10-20%, sufficient to drop the moisture level to between 3-6%, inclusive, can be used to prepare a flaked oat cereal which is shelf stable, provided the moisture levels of the post gelatinized oats are returned to critical levels of 8-12% inclusive, within 100 minutes after the heat treatment, and provided the flaking step takes place within 48 hours after the end of the remoisturization step.
Abstract: A toy saxophone is disclosed having a mouthpiece, a sound-emitting mechanism, a bubble-blowing mechanism, and air tubes connecting the mouthpiece to the sound-emitting and bubble-blowing mechanisms. The toy saxophone further has an actuating mechanism comprising a manually depressible button coupled to the sound-emitting and bubble-blowing mechanisms whereby simultaneously blowing into the mouthpiece and depressing the button causes sound to be emitted from the sound-emitting mechanism and bubbles to be blown from the bubble-blowing mechanism.
