Abstract: A hollow metal member has the exterior shape of a shoe tip and an interior chamber of like shape communicating with a rear opening in the member. Four strap receiving loops are secured to the outer surface of the two opposite sides of the member, two loops on one side thereof, two loops on the other side. The loops extend outward and are positioned adjacent the rear opening, lying in a common vertical plane disposed at right angles to the direction of elongation of the member. Elongated strap means detachably securable at each end to a corresponding set of two loops can be used to hold the member in place on a shoe.

Abstract: A hollow elongated cylinder has a cup with a central opening at one end and is open at the other. A plurality of equidistantly spaced like slots are cut into the cylinder wall and extend for a short distance in the axial direction from the other end toward the cap. An elongated bar parallel to the axis of the cylinder is secured to the inner wall of the cylinder, one end of the bar being adjacent the cap, the other end of the bar being adjacent the slots. A threaded bolt is aligned with the axis of the cylinder and is disposed therein, the head of the bolt being alignable with the slots, the end of the bolt extending through the opening of the cap. An eye is secured to the exposed end of the bolt. A flat circular disc has a central threaded bore threadedly engaged by said bolt, the disc being disposed in the cylinder and having a diameter slightly smaller than that of the interior of the cylinder. The disc has a portion cut away whereby the disc bears against the bar slidably but non-rotatably.

Abstract: A pair of recesses are provided in the passenger compartment of a vehicle in clear view of an operator of the vehicle. Each of three groups of number wheels is rotatably mounted in a corresponding one of the recesses. Each group comprises a plurality of coaxially mounted number wheels in next-adjacent relation in units, tens, hundreds, thousands, 10 thousands and 100 thousands positions. The wheels of the first of the groups are manually rotatable to indicate a mileage at which the next oil change is due. The wheels of the second of the groups are manually rotatable to indicate a mileage at which the next change of oil filter is due. The wheels of the third of the groups are manually rotatable to indicate the mileage at which the next engine tune up is due.

Abstract: A golf tee employs an elongated vertical element having a lower pointed end and a vertical axially disposed bore extending downward from the upper end to a point intermediate the ends. A pin has an enlarged horizontal head and a shaft extending vertically downward from said head. The shaft is disposed in fixed position in said bore with the head disposed above the upper end of the element. A first horizontal ring engages the shaft and is disposed between the head of the pin and the upper end of the element. The first ring is rotatable about the shaft. A second horizontal ring larger in diameter than the first ring has a central opening adapted to receive removably a bottom portion of a golf ball. A horizontally elongated member composed of a plurality of inter-twisted strands is secured at one end to the periphery of the first ring, the other end of the member being secured to the periphery of the second ring.

Abstract: A basket-type member of a shopping cart is slidably mounted on a frame. Pins are extended through selected holes through the frame and the basket-type member for releasably maintaining the member in a selected position above a surface supporting the cart. Wheels are rotatably mounted at the bottom of the frame and the basket-member is foldable.

Abstract: A wire for the running lights of a towing vehicle is connected to a wire for the running lights of a trailer. A chassis ground wire of the vehicle is connected to a trailer ground wire of the trailer. A relay circuit connects a right turn signal wire of the vehicle, a left turn signal wire of the vehicle and a brake wire of the vehicle to a combination right turn signal and brake wire of the trailer and a combination left turn signal and brake wire of the trailer.

Abstract: A flat barrel-type housing has spaced opposite first and second ends and an axial chamber formed therethrough, extending between the ends and opening at the second end of the housing. A pistol-type hand grip extends from the housing in the area of the second end thereof and extends perpendicularly from the chamber. A guide is mounted in the feed bore and extends out of the housing for movably guiding a stack of hog staples individually into the chamber. A pair of curved arms extend from the housing at the second end thereof on opposite sides of the opening of the chamber thereat. The arms open toward each other to form a circular area therebetween and have free ends spaced from each other. A feed device operated by the holder of the gun moves a single staple at a time from the guide in the chamber at the feed bore through the chamber and the opening at the second end of the housing into contact with the arms whereby the arms form a circle of each staple.

A plurality of suction cups are affixed to one of the surfaces of the base member for releasably securing the base member in position on a supporting surface. A sheet of pliable, resilient water-impervious material is affixed to the other of the surfaces of the base member in undulating configuration in a manner whereby when the device is positioned in a shower or tub and the feet of a user are rubbed on the sheet of resilient material, such feet are washed and massaged simultaneously.

Abstract: Each of a plurality of sling type members supports skis in spaced relation with the other sling type members. Each sling type member comprises a strip of flexible material having bores formed through both ends so that when the strip supports skis as a sling the bores are in alignment. Straps pass through a handle of tubular configuration and extend from the handle at both ends. Fasteners are provided at the ends of the straps for releasably fastening each end of the straps to a corresponding one of the sling type members via the bores thereof to support skis supported by the members via the handle.

A pair of electrically conductive terminal leads are each electrically connected to a corresponding end of the current resistive member. An elongated ancillary member of electrically conductive material is embedded in the insulating material in spaced parallel relation with the current resistive member. A plurality of spaced transverse internally threaded bores are formed through the ancillary member. A plurality of spaced bores are formed through the block extending from both sides of the internally threaded bores from the current resistive member to a surface of the block.

Abstract: A wiper blade is pivotally coupled to a rotatably mounted main gear via a wiper arm and abuts the rear window of a vehicle. First and second gear rods are provided in spaced parallel coplanar flanking relation with the main gear. First and second worm gears are affixed to first ends of the first and second worm gear rods, respectively, each on a corresponding side of the main gear. A pivotally mounted support device supports the gear rods with the first and second worm gears on diametrically opposite sides of the main gear. A drive device is coupled to the gear rods for rotating the first and second worm gears. An electromagnetic control device is coupled to the support device for alternately moving the first and second worm gears into coupling relation with the main gear thereby alternately rotating the main gear clockwise and counterclockwise and moving wiper blade in a wide arc.

The feeders are so designed that when wire is passed through the feeders, the wire will be advanced forwardly as the fingers are squeezed together and released.

A manually operable pump is attached to the body so as to allow the contents of the body to be pressurized. Removable fasteners removably affix each of the sides of the sheet to a corresponding one of the side arms of the handle part of the frame of a baby stroller and removably affix the back surface at its upper edge to the head of such handle part.
