Abstract: Disclosed are a method, a device, a system, and/or a manufacture of a mental and physical challenge through recalling and inputting a sequence of touch inputs and/or sound inputs. In one embodiment, a device for engaging a user in a mental and/or physical challenge includes a platform capable of laying substantially flat on a surface, two or more touch sensors attached to the platform for receiving a touch input from the user, two or more visual indicators of the platform, a speaker for providing a sound indicator, and a microphone for receiving a sound input from the user. A computer memory includes a sequence data specifying a set of inputs, a sequence indication routine for generating an input indication of the sequence data, and a comparison routine for comparing the sequence data to the input data to provide a score and/or a rank. The challenge may be set to music.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method, a device, a system and/or a manufacture of control and security of a voice controlled device. In one embodiment, an apparatus includes a signal input for receiving a command signal and a soundwave damper to dampen a sound receiving capability of a voice controlled device. The voice controlled device is capable of initiating a responsive action in response to a voice command. A processor determinations that the command signal is associated with the voice command and in response to the determination generate with a speaker a soundwave carrying the voice command bypassing the soundwave damper such that the soundwave carrying the voice command is communicable to the microphone of the voice controlled device. The apparatus also includes a cap housing the speaker and optionally the soundwave damper. As an example, the soundwave damper may be a barrier, a flexible membrane, or a sound interference generator.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method, a device, a system and/or a manufacture of enhanced control, customization, and/or security of a sound controlled device such as a voice controlled assistance device. In one embodiment, an apparatus includes a signal input, a speaker, and a soundwave damper to dampen a sound receiving capability of a sound controlled device. The sound controlled device initiates a responsive action to a sound command received on a microphone, and may be a voice controlled assistance device. Upon receiving a command signal the apparatus utilizes a processor and a memory to determine an association between the command signal and an audio file storing the sound command and converts the audio file into an audio signal. The speaker is utilized to bypass the soundwave damper such that the sound command is received at the microphone of the sound controlled device, initiating the responsive action as a result of the command signal.
