Abstract: In a cam hinge device having a lower stationary hinge section and an upper hinge section, the improvement comprised of each hinge section having an identically formed, seamless sleeve-like, metal casing with a metal mounting leaf extending laterally therefrom. Plastic block assemblies including the operative camming surfaces of the device are provided within the casing such that the casing and block assembly of the riding hinge section are mounted in an axial position 180.degree. opposite the casing and block assembly of the stationary hinge section when the hinge device is assembled.
Abstract: An improved anchoring means for attaching a pilaster to an existing structure comprises a footer bar which is secured by mounting means to the pilaster end. The footer bar is adjustably attached to stud bolts extending from an existing structure to which the pilaster is to be attached. A stablizer nut on the end of the stud bolts is tightened to act against a portion of the pilaster. The action of the stabilizer nut causes the mounting means for the footer bar to be placed in tension thereby increasing the stability of the mounting of the pilaster.
Abstract: A pilaster footing comprises a substantially rectangular cross section channel member open at both ends. One end opening of the channel member conforms to the channel cross section and is substantially rectangular. The other end opening is partially closed by peripheral skirts which provide a non-rectangular configured opening.
