Abstract: A one-piece molded container comprising a lid and a container body is provided. The container body and lid are connected by a living hinge. The container body has interior protrusions extending from a bottom portion in an interior of the container body to limit nesting of the containers. The container body has a recess on a bottom portion on an exterior portion of the container and a dual-prong lid-locking mechanism, the lid-locking mechanism including a first prong, a second prong being a tamper-evident tearaway portion, and a protrusion extending downwardly from an interior portion of the lid.

Abstract: A sump pump system having a primary pump, a fluid level sensor, and a primary controller electrically connected to the primary pump for activating the pump when the fluid level sensor indicates a predetermine fluid level has been reached, the primary controller having a primary interface for communicating with a secondary pump. In some forms, the system includes a secondary pump having a secondary controller electrically connected to the secondary pump and having a secondary interface, the primary and secondary interfaces allowing the primary and secondary pump controllers to communicate with one another and allowing at least one of the primary and secondary pump controllers to assume control of both the primary and secondary pump. Related methods are further described herein.

Abstract: A dynamic roof top for a truck body and method of assembly is provided. The dynamic roof top comprises at least one dynamic panel having a plurality of wheels for translating the at least one dynamic panel from an extended or closed position to a retracted or opened position and from the retracted or opened position to the extended or closed position. A static panel is included that allows the at least one dynamic panel to obtain and enveloped condition between the dynamic panel and the static panel. A rail system is also provided to allow the dynamic panel to translate from the extended or closed position to a retracted or opened position and from the retracted or open position to the extended or closed position.

Abstract: A lateral arm assembly and method of operation includes first and second articulating arms comprising first and second ends, the first ends of the articulating arms are mounted upon assembly to a support surface at separate lateral locations. The first ends each comprise separate pivoting mounting structures for forming a first pivotal connection with the first and second articulating arms. The lateral arm assembly also comprises a roller tube having spaced lateral ends supporting respective end brackets that provide a second pivotal connection to the second ends of the articulating arms. The roller tube supports a canopy coupled to a roller shaft, wherein one of the end brackets further supports a device that drives the roller shaft for furling and unfurling the canopy.

Abstract: A multi-outlet fluid pump includes a housing, a motorized pump, an electrical power supply, and a self-locking thermal cutoff. In one form, the pump includes a first or primary thermal cutoff and a second or secondary thermal cutoff to prevent the pump from operating once a thermal cutoff has deactivated the pump until a user or operator has taken some affirmative action. Related methods are also disclosed herein. In some forms an indicator is provided to indicate if the thermal cutoff has disabled the pump to alert a user as to the need to unplug or reset the pump before operating the pump again.

Abstract: A compressed gas energy harvesting system (CGEHS) for use in a gas delivery system is disclosed herein. The CGEHS comprises a gas control device connected to a compressed gas container and in fluid communication with a fluid within the compressed gas container. The gas control device comprising one or more electrical components. The CGEHS further includes a power storage device for providing power to the one or more electrical components and a potential energy converter coupled to the one or more electrical components, the potential energy converter for supplying power to at least one of the one or more electrical components and the power storage device by converting the potential energy retained by the compressed gas container into electrical energy.

Abstract: A submersible pump and related methods are disclosed herein. The pump assembly includes a pump housing and a motor with a motor housing/cap and an output shaft connected to an impeller that is disposed in a volute. In some forms, a separate power circuit compartment is formed integral to one of the pump housing and/or volute to store power circuitry that allows a DC pump to be used and powered by AC voltage. In other forms, the power circuit compartment is formed separate from the pump assembly and fastened or connect to the pump assembly. In preferred forms, the power circuit compartment is positioned relative to the pump assembly at a point where it will be maintained at least partially within the fluid surrounding the pump to dissipate heat from the power circuit. Numerous methods are also disclosed and contemplated herein.

Abstract: An awning assembly having an awning connection system for coupling an awning canopy to a support structure and providing a cover to the awning canopy when the awning assembly is in a closed position. The awning connection system comprises a unitary film segment having a distal end connected to the awning canopy and a proximal end for securing to the support structure. The unitary film segment further comprises an attached region for coupling the unitary film segment to the awning canopy.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are a dual inlet volute with an impeller and pump for same, and related methods. In one form a pump is provided comprising a motor configured to rotate a shaft, an impeller operatively coupled to the shaft, and a volute housing the impeller, the volute having a first inlet, a second inlet, and a discharge in fluid communication with the first and second inlets.

Abstract: An awning assembly and method of construction is disclosed herein. The awning assembly comprising a first main arm for coupling to a dwelling, a second main arm rotatably coupled to the first main arm at a first end and supportingly coupled to a roll bar at a second end, the roll bar coupled to a canopy, and a hard wire connection housed within the first main arm for coupling to a power source. The awning assembly further comprising a detachable attachment module coupled to the first end of the second main arm and functionally coupled to the hard wire connection, the detachable attachment module comprising a plurality of electrical components, the plurality of electrical components comprising at least one of a microphone, a heating element, an input/output port, an image capture device, a speaker, an illumination source, and a transceiver.
