A machine and a cartridge containing a lubrication liquid are connected to each other so that the lubrication liquid is supplied to the machine. Some embodiments may include a monitoring system, a backup source of lubrication liquid, and/or a second cartridge that automatically provides lubrication liquid to the machine when the cartridge is empty.
