Abstract: The present invention discloses a power supply device for outputting a stable programmable power supply, which comprises a transformer disposed at a DC output end of the power supply device, and a clamp circuit connected to a secondary current of the transformer. Since the clamp circuit is disposed on the secondary current of the transformer, therefore it does not require a high DC voltage to drive the clamp circuit. The clamp circuit can release the high voltage produced when the metal oxide semiconductor field effect transistor (MOSFET) is off, and thus reducing the high voltage borne by the MOSFET to enhance the reliability of the MOSFET. Additionally, the present invention can prevent the transformer from being saturated due to magnetic leakage, inductance, and stored energies released or eliminated from the transformer.
Abstract: A support system for a lubricator to prevent the lubricator from deflecting during coil tubing operations, particularly on slant wells. A support member is connected to the lubricator through truss members for supporting the lubricator in tension or in compression, depending upon whether the support member is placed above or below the lubricator. A coil tubing injector is provided which is capable of manipulating the supported lubricator axially along a path coaxial to the wellhead to permit fine adjustment with the wellhead.
Abstract: An apparatus for a rotary internal combustion engine. The engine has three rotating members that orbit about the center of a three-armed rotor as the rotor rotates within a housing with three lobes. The tips of the rotating members engage the lobes and a circular cutout in the rotor as the rotor rotates. A back plate includes inlet and exhaust ports that are sequentially opened and closed by the rotating members and rotor as they move within the housing. A front plate rotates with the rotor and separates the combustion chambers from a planetary gear assembly that ensures the alignment of the rotating members as they orbit the rotor shaft. Fuel is injected after the compression cycle is initiated.

Abstract: A shipping container for a motorized vehicle comprises a base frame and a top frame, each constructed of rigid tubing. The base frame has a plurality of tire rests on which respective wheels of the motorized vehicle will be placed. In addition, the base frame has a plurality of base sockets located at respective corners thereof. Each of the base sockets is oriented in an upward direction. The top frame of the shipping container includes a plurality of top sockets located at respective corners thereof. The top sockets are oriented in a downward direction so as to be opposed to the base sockets. A plurality of elongate posts respectively extend between each opposed pair of sockets such that the top frame will be supported in spaced apart relation from the base frame.

Abstract: A tilt latch and pivot housing which has a collapsible retainer on each of its side walls extending along a substantial portion of the length thereof and angularly outwardly from the side walls of the housing. The inner surface of each retainer is spaced from the surface of the adjacent side wall of the housing, thus forming a crevice or gap designed to receive the retainer when sufficient pressure is applied to the retainer's outer surface causing the retainer to deflect inwardly. According to some embodiments, portions of the retainers adjacent to the upper engagement ends therof are beveled. The retainers may also be beveled on one end to facilitate installation of the housing into a sash. The housing may also include a collapsible retainer formed at the bottom wall of the housing for preventing longitudinal movement of the housing after installation. The present invention is also directed to methods of manufacturing sash windows having tilt latches and/or pivots incorporating the housings.
Abstract: A method and a computer data signal including instructions for processing printed unit orders for printing on printers adapted for printing N pages across a print web. The orders are grouped based on page type (e.g., size, thickness, color) and binding type into print batches. These print batches are sorted, processed and then sent to the printer. Printed units may be organized with N single printed units printed in parallel across the web, a single printed unit sorted into N sections printed in parallel across all of the webs, or in super batches including multiple printed units, with N super batches printed in parallel across the web.

Abstract: A germicidal lamp having amalgam for controlling mercury vapor pressure contained in a location facilitating efficient high output operation. A low pressure mercury vapor discharge lamp has an amalgam container containing an amalgam positioned behind an electrode out of the arc path or space. The amalgam position is retained during high wall loading of the lamp preventing the amalgam from moving out of position. Efficient operation with high current loads and resulting high wall loading and temperatures is possible. The germicidal lamp is particularly suited to being positioned vertically in a waste water treatment system.
Abstract: A method for quantitatively assaying one or more target molecules in a sample uses a nucleic acid aptamer that is specific for each target molecule. A quantitative replicative procedure is used to determine a quantity of aptamer specific for each molecule.
Abstract: In general, in one aspect, the disclosure describes a method of processing content for distribution over a computer network. The method includes receiving submitted electronic content, accessing identification of at least one of a set of more than one electronic book digital rights management (DRM) systems, and automatically generating an electronic book from the received electronic content for distribution in accordance with the identified electronic book digital rights management system(s).

Abstract: A shredder apparatus and method for shredding wet chip materials in which the shredder utilizes a shredder mechanism having a shaft attached to a frame, a bearing assembly disposed on the shaft, and a rotatable rotor disposed on the bearing assembly. First shredder members are attached to and rotatable with the rotor, and cooperate with second shredder members attached to the frame to shred wet chip materials fed into the shredder apparatus.
Abstract: A webcam and holder arrangement is disclosed to include a holder base provided with a cover, a winding mechanism provided inside the holder base, and a webcam, which has a cable inserted through the holder base and fastened to the winding mechanism and terminating at an electric connector connectable to a computer such that the directly place the webcam on the cover of the holder base or pulled with the cable out of the holder base and hung with the cable on a LCD with the focusing lens thereof aimed at the user.

Abstract: A method of making a mold for a light guide plate includes the steps of plating a soft metal layer on a roller, polishing the soft metal layer, engraving the soft metal layer to form a transferring pattern on the soft metal layer, and plating a hard metal layer on the soft metal layer.
Abstract: A curtain rod has a C-shaped cross section for receiving tongues on main wall mountable main brackets. Slotted supplementary brackets are mountable over the main brackets for permitting one or more supplementary curtain rods to be hung without drilling holes in the wall additional to those provided for the main brackets. Intermediate main and supplemental brackets support long curtain rods between their ends to prevent sagging. The supplemental curtain rod brackets are adapted for hanging the supplemental curtain rods at heights varying from that of the main curtain and the main and supplemental curtain rod brackets are further adapted for independently varying the distance of each set of curtains from the wall. Decorative hangers have rollers for movements along the main curtain rod have bumpers to prevent overlapping of the wheels and resultant binding.
