Patents Assigned to The South East Queensland Electricity Board
  • Patent number: 5574653
Abstract: A switchboard having a mains power input circuit (A,N) and a plurality of output circuits (HOT WATER, OFF PEAK, OVEN, LIGHT, POWER2, POWER1) and including a central processing unit (CPU) for controlling a plurality of controllable circuit breakers (BREAKER1 to BREAKER6). The breakers are controllable by the CPU. Sensing means (J14, T2, T4) provide the CPU with instantaneous voltage and current magnitudes to enable the CPU to determine power consumed by the output circuits.

  • Patent number: 5392660
Abstract: A load monitor responsive to tension or pressure is disclosed. The monitor has attachment portions at its ends and a transmitter. The attachment portions are electrically isolated from one another and the transmitter has its output connected to the attachment portions. Cables connected to the attachment portions act as an antenna for propagating the signal to a remotely located receiver.

  • Patent number: 5375801
Abstract: A post (10) for displaying a sign comprising an elongate support member (12) having a ground penetrating means (14) at one end and a first abutment member (25) adjacent to the ground penetrating means (14). A driving member (28) in the form of a weighted sleeve is mounted on the elongate support member (12) and the driving member may be driven against the first abutment member (25) to drive the elongate support member into the ground. A sign may be hung from a first sign support (32) preferably located on the other end of the elongate support member. A second sign support (35) is provided on the driving member (28). The second sign support (35) may be hooked through a lower portion of the sign in order to provide ballast for the sign.
