    Abstract: A composition for the treatment of follicular tonsillitis is provided. The composition includes a therapeutically effective amount of carnosic acid and a carrier consisting of pharmaceutically acceptable solvents and ingredients. The composition is in the form of spray and includes ethanol and polyoxyethylenesorbitan monooleate and at least 0.1% oregano essential oil. Other compositions and treatment methods are disclosed.
