    Abstract: An easy access shower base assembly is disclosed which generally comprises a shower base, a ramp, and clips for attaching the ramp to the shower base. The shower base comprises a basin, a generally horizontal front ledge at the front of the basin, with a lip depending downwardly from the front edge of the ledge, and a generally horizontal boundary ledge, vertically higher than the front ledge. The ramp has a thin front edge and a thicker back edge, the thickness of the back edge being less than the height of the lip. The ramp is substantially the same length as the front ledge and the back edge of the ramp is generally even with the front ledge of the shower base. The ramp extends angularly downward from the back edge to the thin front edge. Also in the preferred embodiment, the shower base assembly further comprises at least one water trap for collecting water from the boundary ledge and for causing the collected water to drain into the basin of the shower base.

Modified C-clamps connect the flanges for facile tightening by either a right or left handed installer and the apparatus may comprehend a drip catching slat between the elongated plates and seam to be joined for decreasing spills during gluing or otherwise filling of the countertop seam.

    Abstract: For use with a building interior recess construction, such as, a stud pocket, a bathtub and alcove construction wherein there is provided a bathtub, and a back panel and a pair of side panels comprising a surround for said bathtub. First clip members are provided for fixedly engaging the bathtub to adjacent portions of the recess construction; and with there being second clip members also engaging said bathtub for cooperating with retainer elements carried on the back panel to assure of appropriate disposition of the developed surround with respect to the bathtub. The back panel contains at opposite ends forwardly directed, relatively shallow corner portions, each of which is provided with a vertically extending groove. Each side panel along one edge portion is provided with a tongue-like flange dimensioned for reliable and snug reception with the adjacent groove of the back panel.

The sub-base guides and locates a drain pipe assembly including a drain pipe which extends laterally through and beyond the sub-base to permit drain discharge at a location remote from the shower.

    Abstract: A modular, pre-plumbed shower unit is of self-contained nature facilitating rapid shower installation, and includes a plumbing tree including conduits interconnecting a shower head fixture, a tub spout, and control valve for controlling hot and cold water flow to the shower head or tub spout. Resilient pinch mounting brackets secure the plumbing tree to an exterior wall surface. Water supply connections to the control valve are made outside of the wall through an opening therein. A pre-molded shell is secured to the plumbing tree to surround and conceal the plumbing tree in overlying relationship to the wall while concealing also the wall opening. The shower head fixture, tub spout and a handle for the control valve are connected by openings in the shell.

Each trim component embodies a base flange for supported disposition upon an underlying end portion of the sill trim component and a depending skirt for presentation outwardly of the adjacent portion of the sill apron with such skirts incorporating inturned lips for underlying the bottom edge of the apron.
