  • Patent number: 10788115
Abstract: In a strain wave gearing, the addendum tooth profile of an internal gear is defined by the formula a and that of an external gear is by the formula b at a principal cross-section located at a tooth-trace-direction center of the external gear, on the basis of a movement locus (Mc) of ?=1 of the teeth of the external gear with respect to those of the internal gear in the principle cross-section taken at the center of the tooth trace of the external gear obtained when the tooth meshing is approximated by rack meshing. It is possible to avoid superimposition of flexion-induced bending stresses and tensile stresses caused by load torque at the major-axis locations of the external gear, and the transmission torque capacity of a strain wave gearing can be improved.

  • Patent number: 10789324
Abstract: The approved email generation system described is capable of producing email communications between user and customer by using approved email templates and content that have been aligned with customer information regarding access to such content. Once the approved email has been generated, the content may be verified again for accuracy and validity before being delivered to the customer. When the customer accesses delivered content, the approved email generation system again verifies the content and allows the customer access to only the most current version of the content available. The system provides for control of the content of electronic communications to customers.

  • Patent number: 10791538
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention are directed to cloud-based data synchronization. Two or more devices associated with an account in a cloud can be synched. The account is configured to manage publishing and subscription relationships between these devices such that a first device is able to publish data to the account in the cloud, and a second device is able to subscribe to the data from the account. In some embodiments, the account is configured to determine whether the second device has proper dependencies for subscribing to the data, and to prevent the second device from subscribing to the data upon determining that the second device does not have proper dependencies. However, in some embodiments, proper dependencies are automatically satisfied by downloading and installing a tool configured to properly process the data (e.g., execute applications) on the second device.

  • Patent number: 10787033
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a bicycle hub that provides improved drive line efficiency and bike-to-rider torque feedback. The drive line efficiencies are due to lower rolling resistance resulting from a novel bearing and sprag clutch configuration, a lightweight design, and immediate torque transfer from the cassette drive to the hub body. The bike-to-rider feedback has been improved as the torque transfer is smooth, predictable, and immediate.

  • Patent number: 10787377
Abstract: In an apparatus for treating wastewater, e.g sewage water, the water passes through a standard treatment process stream to promote production of dissolved reactive phosphate ions (PO4). Iron (or aluminum) ions are generated by electrochemical means and added to the process stream at one or more locations to produce metal-P coagulant solids removed in part by pump-out, with the substantial remaining P removed by mineralization and filtration in a biological filter such as a sand filter or leach field. In another apparatus, the water passes through a standard aerobic treatment process stream to promote production of dissolved reactive phosphate ions. Iron (or aluminum) ions are generated by electrochemical means and added to the process stream at one or more locations to produce a flocculant of Fe—P minerals that are separated out by sedimentation, physical filtration or magnetic means.

  • Patent number: 10788586
Abstract: Multichannel inertial measuring unit (MIMU) contains sensors for measurements of vector and scalar parameters of motion (angular speed, specific acceleration, magnetic field, etc.), and independent hardware interfaces to transmit measured data. Measured information is read out from MIMU via each hardware interface irrespective of other hardware interfaces. The format of data presentation for each hardware interface is randomly selected from a predefined list. Measurements from MIMU are generated by a set of sensors within a common timescale. The timescale for synchronization of sensor measurements can be both generated within MIMU by a stable clock generator and transmitted to MIMU from outside, including from one of users of measured data. MIMU also can generate synchronization signals to transmit its timescale to external users.

  • Patent number: 10789577
Abstract: All equipment will fail if not properly maintained so it is imperative to check the state of the equipment, periodically. Accordingly, an assessment system including an equipment analyzer is provided for analyzing the state of equipment. The analyzer includes an interactive interface for arranging a plurality of selectable assessment elements. Each element represents an assessment procedure for evaluating a state of equipment and is linked to a respective process pipeline. A controller activates a tool in the process pipeline for carrying out an assessing task. The controller verifies whether the task is complete based on feedback provided by the user and stores the feedback for generating reports. Whether a tool is activated or a task can be completed is limited to when the user is at the point of evaluation. Accordingly, the assessment system can ensure that evaluations are accurately completed at the time of evaluation.

  • Patent number: 10788272
Abstract: Systems according to the present disclosure provide one or more surfaces that function as heat or power radiating surfaces for which at least a portion of the radiating surface includes or is composed of “fractal cells” placed sufficiently closed close together to one another so that a surface (plasmonic) wave causes near replication of current present in one fractal cell in an adjacent fractal cell. A fractal of such a fractal cell can be of any suitable fractal shape and may have two or more iterations. The fractal cells may lie on a flat or curved sheet or layer and be composed in layers for wide bandwidth or multibandwidth transmission. The area of a surface and its number of fractals determines the gain relative to a single fractal cell. The boundary edges of the surface may be terminated resistively so as to not degrade the cell performance at the edges.
