Abstract: An ergonomic glue pen employs a spring-loaded advancing assembly for advancing a glue stick toward a heater. When the proper temperature is reached, a trigger is depressed to dispense glue through a forward nozzle. In some embodiments, the nozzle changes color when the proper temperature is obtained. A button at the side of the glue pen is manually displaceable by the user. The glue stick is loaded at the rear of the glue pen via a one-way collet. The trigger preferably interacts with the advancing assembly via a spring-loaded ratchet mechanism.
Abstract: A knife handle assembly adapted for attachment to a knife blade, including an elongated handle having a cavity formed therein and a pliable section positioned adjacent the cavity; an elongated rod extending along a longitudinal axis and into the cavity; a user engageable member attached to the rod on the exterior of said handle and adapted to permit selective rotation of the rod about its longitudinal axis; and a first cam positioned within the cavity and in abutting relation to the pliable section and engaged with the rod, wherein rotation of the rod about its longitudinal axis translates to movement of the first cam into said pliable section an amount corresponding to the degree of rotation.
Abstract: A glue gun is adapted to receive a glue stick and to feed the glue stick forwardly a heater subassembly. A trigger is sequentially operated to advance the glue stick. The heater assembly transforms the glue stick into molten glue which is dispensed through a frontal nozzle of the glue gun. The glue gun has a temperature indicator. The glue gun is exteriorly ergonomically configured for facile usage.
Abstract: An abrasive pad assembly, comprising having an abrasive layer having first and second surfaces with the first surface being coated with material particles having predetermined hardness characteristics, a substrate having first and second surfaces with the first surface attached to the second surface of the abrasive layer, the substrate being composed of a material having stiff and resilient characteristics, and a fastening layer having first and second surfaces with the first surface being attached to the second surface of the substrate and the first surface having fastening material disposed thereon.

Abstract: The bulb planter employs a pair of members which cooperate to form a generally cylindrical structure with a working end in a closed position. One member pivots to an open pivoted position wherein the members separate at the working ends. An angularly displaceable lever is forced toward a handle to actuate the member for pivoting. Upon release of the lever, the member pivots back to the closed position.
