    Abstract: A platform is provided for aligning and securing an instrument, and being attachable to a mount stand. The platform angularly aligns plural independent and parallel rotations separated by linear offset. The platform includes first and second plates, first and second disks and a translational interface. The first plate attaches to the mount stand. The first disk is disposed onto the first plate and can rotate on a first axis. The linear translation assembly includes a block flanked by a pair of flanges. Each flange is disposed on the first disk. The second disk is disposed onto the block and can rotate on a second axis parallel to the first axis. The block slides to translate relative to the pair of flanges. The second plate attaches to the second disk and receives the instrument.

The tensioner may comprise a pair of hydraulic arms having first ends coupled near a proximal end of the base assemblies and a linear crossmember coupled to the second ends of the hydraulic arms. The cable may fasten to the bollard, and the tensioner may apply tension to the cable at various load angles in order to test the integrity of the bollard.

The isolation container receives the sample pair. The container inserts into the axial cavity and including an opening for disposition adjacent to the window. The compressor has circular cross-sections for insertion into the axial cavity and includes an external helical thread portion for engaging the internal helical thread portion of the housing. Axial pressure applies to the isolation container by turning the compressor inside the axial cavity. The isolation container provides thermal insulation from the housing and the compressor.

    Abstract: Systems and methods for growth of silicon carbide over a layer comprising graphene and/or hexagonal boron nitride, and related articles, are generally described. In some embodiments, a SiC film is fabricated over a layer comprising graphene and/or hexagonal boron nitride, which in turn is disposed over a substrate. The layer and/or the substrate may be lattice-matched with the SiC film to reduce defect density in the SiC film. The fabricated SiC film may then be removed from the substrate via, for example, a stressor attached to the SiC film. In certain cases, the layer serves as a reusable platform for growing SiC films and also serves a release layer that allows fast, precise, and repeatable release at the layer surface.

In operation, the pipeline modules serve to create a single term for all entity mentions in the corpus that reference the same entity through coreference resolution, extract all subject-predicate-object triplets from the coreference resolved corpus through OIE, and then canonicalize the corpus by clustering each entity mention to a canonical form for mapping to the knowledge graph and display.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a firearm projectile capable of releasing a secondary payload mid-flight through a pyrotechnic timing mechanism. Once the firearm is fired, the powder in the casing pushes out the projectile as a typical round. In addition, the powder ignites the delay column. The formulation and amount of delay pyrotechnics determines the delay time. When the delay column is burned, the final portion ignites an expelling charge. The expelling charge builds pressure in the projectile casing and separates the base plug from the main projectile housing. The expelling assembly pushes out the secondary payload out the rear of the projectile. Although the payload exits the rear of the projectile at minimum velocity, the net velocity of the payload is still in the forward direction.
