Abstract: Hardware-agnostic accelerator orchestration (HALO) provides a software framework for heterogeneous computing systems. Hardware-agnostic programming with high performance portability is envisioned to be a bedrock for realizing adoption of emerging accelerator technologies in heterogeneous computing systems, such as high-performance computing (HPC) systems, data center computing systems, and edge computing systems. The adoption of emerging accelerators is key to achieving greater scale and performance in heterogeneous computing systems. Accordingly, embodiments described herein provide a flexible hardware-agnostic environment that allows application developers to develop high-performance applications without knowledge of the underlying hardware.

Abstract: A separation device with two-stage gas-liquid mixture and conical spiral fields is provided. A first-stage uniform mixer performs first-stage gas-liquid crushing and uniform mixing process by an outer micropore ceramic pipe, a middle micropore ceramic pipe and an inner micropore ceramic pipe and crushes large bubbles in the gas-liquid two-phase flow into small bubbles. A second-stage uniform mixer performs second-stage gas-liquid crushing and uniform mixing process. A whirlpool-making gas collector adjusts the gas-liquid uniform mixing flow obtained after two-stage gas-liquid uniform mixing into hollow-core type high-speed two-phase spiral flow. A conical degasser performs gas-liquid efficient separation operation in a high-speed conical spiral field.

Abstract: A semiconductor circuit device includes a first clock gating circuit that outputs a first gated clock signal generated from a clock signal and a first enable signal, a non-volatile first flip-flop that operates in response to a clock pulse of the first gated clock signal, an acquisition circuit that acquires data inputted from the first flip-flop according to a second enable signal that enables or disables the acquisition of the data from the first flip-flop, and a power gating circuit that supplies electric power to the first flip-flop and receives the first and second enable signals as power source control signals. The power gating circuit includes a power switch, and supplies the electric power to the first flip-flop by turning ON the power switch when the power source control signals have logical values that enable the clock signal or the acquisition of the data in the acquisition circuit.

Abstract: A magnetic distribution detection method includes the steps of providing a magnetic sensor and a sample, selecting a multiple of measuring points on the sample, sensing the measuring points by the magnetic sensor, obtaining a multiple of sense data and a series of the heights of the magnetic sensor from each measuring point, using a signal decomposition algorithm to convert these sense data into data groups, and selecting one of the data groups as the magnetic distribution data of the sample.
Abstract: The invention provides a method for lubricating one or more surfaces, comprising applying gel-phase liposomes onto said one or more surfaces, wherein the temperature of said surface(s) at the time of lubrication is below the phase transition temperature Tm of said liposomes. The method can be used for lubricating non-biological surfaces, and also for lubricating the surfaces of a biological tissue in a mammalian subject, e.g., for treating joint dysfunction.

Also provided is a method for increasing the crack-resistance of a cementitious material by replacing the sand in a cement mortar with a recycled aggregate material and adding at least one recycled fiber reinforcement material and a volume of water.

Abstract: The present invention relates to methods of increasing the cellular concentration of Interferon Induced Protein with Tetratricopeptide repeats (IFIT) polypeptides in a cell infected with a mycobacterium. The method includes the introduction of exogenous IFIT polypeptides or expression vectors encoding the exogenous IFIT polypeptides into the cell, wherein increasing the cellular concentration of the IFIT polypeptide reduces the number of viable mycobacteria in the cell. The invention also relates to methods of treatment and uses of IFIT proteins and uses of vectors encoding IFIT proteins.

The present invention proposes a method for multi-sensor data-based fusion information generation for 360-degree detection and recognition of a surrounding object, the method comprising the steps of: acquiring a feature map from a multi-sensor signal by using a deep neural network; converting the acquired feature map into an integrated three-dimensional coordinate system; and generating a fusion feature map for performing recognition by using the converted integrated three-dimensional coordinate system.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an unsaturated fatty acid-conjugated CP2c-targeting peptide-based agent. In the present invention, it was confirmed that by linking an unsaturated fatty acid to ACP52C, which is a CP2c-targeting peptide lead substance exhibiting an effect as a general-purpose anticancer agent, in vivo stability was improved without affecting the anticancer effect. Abstract: A dynamic impedance imaging system includes a dynamic impedance imaging sensor, an impedance detection and flow rate measurement module and an electrical impedance tomography (EIT) instrument. The impedance detection and flow rate measurement module is configured to detect an abnormal particle flowing through the dynamic impedance imaging sensor to obtain a flow rate of the abnormal particle, and generate a synchronous trigger signal. The EIT instrument is configured to inject a sinusoidal excitation current into the dynamic impedance imaging sensor under the trigger of the synchronous trigger signal, perform multi-channel interleaved sampled for the abnormal particle according to the flow rate to acquire multi-channel sampled data, and calibrate the multi-channel sampled data to implement impedance tomography imaging for the abnormal particle.

Abstract: A microneedle biosensor includes a microneedle and a substrate. One end of the microneedle is connected to the substrate, an outer surface of the microneedle is provided with a working electrode and a first electrode, an outer surface of the working electrode is provided with an enzyme, and an outer surface of the microneedle biosensor is covered with a biocompatible film. A method for manufacturing a microneedle biosensor includes: manufacturing the substrate and the microneedle in an additive mode simultaneously; spray-printing and curing the working electrode and the first electrode on the outer surface of the microneedle; spray-printing and drying the enzyme on the outer surface of the working electrode; and using biocompatible liquid for spray-printing, and drying the biocompatible liquid to form the biocompatible film. The substrate, the microneedle, the working electrode, the first electrode, the enzyme and the biocompatible film are all manufactured through a full printing method.
Abstract: A system for non-destructive testing of a bond condition of concrete beams reinforced by steel rods is described. The system includes a transducing transmitter, a transducing receiver, and an ultrasonic pulse generator configured to generate drive signals for the transducing transmitter and receive a plurality vibrational waves at the transducing receiver. The system further includes a computing device including a measurement circuit configured to record a transit time for each vibrational wave and divide a distance between the transducing transmitter and the transducing receiver by the transit time to determine a pulse velocity of each vibrational wave, a comparison circuit configured to identify a highest pulse velocity of the vibrational waves and compare each highest pulse velocity to a first reference pulse velocity, and a decision circuit including an artificial neural network configured to identify a compromised bond condition around a steel rod.

Abstract: A method for treating hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) utilizes an RF ablation electrode needle system that has an RF ablation generator, and an electrode needle. The distal end of the electrode needle is introduced to puncture within myocardium after piercing through epicardium and then advanced along an intramyocardial pathway between endocardia at two lateral sides of the interventricular septum to reach a hypertrophic area of an interventricular septum. The RF ablation generator is then turned on to implement single-point or multi-point ablation on the hypertrophic area of the interventricular septum, and then the RF electrode needle is withdrawn from the patient.
