System interactions that correspond to a defined event may be detected. A protocol that includes parameter constraints mapped to the defined event identified. Operating conditions of the resource-controlling systems and/or metrics of processes performed may be determined based on the monitoring. A subset of the resource-controlling systems may be identified as a function of the operating conditions and/or the metrics. A resource-controlling system may be caused to allocate corresponding resources and perform the processes in accordance with the protocol.

Abstract: According to the invention, a method for transferring funds from a sender to a pre-paid account to be assigned to a recipient is disclosed. The method may include receiving a request to perform a funds transfer, including an amount and a recipient, and determining whether to approve the request. Upon approval, the method may include selecting a first and second money transfer control number (MTCN). The method may include recording an association of the amount and the recipient with the first MTCN, and an association of the two MTCN's. The method may include sending the second MTCN out and later receiving a request to redeem which includes the second MTCN. The method may include determining the first MTCN based on the second MTCN, and whether to approve the request. Upon approval, an indication may be sent that the amount is available for funding of the pre-paid account of the recipient.

Abstract: Techniques and systems for detecting malicious activity within a network are provided herein. A method for detecting malicious activity within a network may include receiving, by a network-based authentication system, a network transaction. The network-based authentication system may identify a first attribute of the network transaction. The method may also include selecting, by the network-based authentication system, a first learning statistical model and a second learning statistical model from a plurality of models for handling the network transaction. Each of the first learning statistical model and the second learning statistical model may create a likelihood that the network transaction is authentic. The first learning statistical model may calculate a first score and the second learning statistical score may calculate a second score. Based on a comparison of the first score to a first threshold and the second score to a second threshold, the network transaction may be authenticated.

Abstract: Techniques are disclosed for providing secure transaction functionality embedded into host applications executing on transaction client devices, using an integration framework and user interfaces. A transaction server may be configured to receive initial transaction sender and receiver data from an integrated software component executing within a host software application on a transaction client device. After receiving the initial transaction sender and receiver data from the integrated software component, the transaction server may determine transaction sender and transaction recipient locations, and may select a particular transaction user interface based on the sender and recipient location data. Particular transaction user interface also may be determined based on specific host applications. After determining the particular transaction user interface, the interface may be transmitted to the transaction client device, for example, via a content delivery network.

A network-based authentication system may determine a plurality of rules that were previously used to evaluate a plurality of transactions. The network-based authentication system may also generate a false positive rate for one or more of the plurality of rules, A cleaning coefficient for a first rule of the plurality of rules may be generated by the network-based authentication system. Based on the cleaning coefficient and the false positive rate, the network-based authentication system may identify one or more rules from the plurality of rules to eliminate from the plurality of rules. The network-based authentication system may eliminate the one or more rules to generate a modified set of rules. Using the modified set of rules, the network-based authentication system may authenticate a network transaction.

A method may include executing, within a web browser being executed by a computer system, a web-based application. Execution of the web-based application may include tagging one or more data fields as sensitive and fetching a public key from a remote server system. The method may include identifying, by the web-based application, a keystroke entry being input into the one or more data fields tagged as sensitive within the web-based application. Prior to storing the keystroke entry in memory mapped to the web browser, the method may include encrypting by the web-based application, the keystroke entry using the fetched public key to generate an encrypted entry. The web browser may store the encrypted entry to memory. Importantly, the keystroke entry may never be stored to the memory of the web browser in an unencrypted form.

The method includes detecting the mobile device, sending a text message containing a unique uniform resource locator (“URL”) to the mobile device, and detecting an access of the unique URL by the mobile device through a first communication path. In response to detecting the access of the unique URL, requesting and subsequently receiving, by the host system in real-time, a phone number and a subscriber identification ID associated with the mobile device through a second communication path distinct from the first communication path, and a device fingerprint of the mobile device through the first communication path. The method further includes initiating a risk analysis based on the phone number, the subscriber ID, and the device fingerprint and determining an authentication status of the mobile device based on the risk analysis.

A method for determining a malicious derivative entity may include receiving, by a network-based authentication system, a plurality of network transactions. A first attribute of a network transaction within the plurality of network transactions may be identified. The method may also include identifying a plurality of entities for the first attribute. The network-based authentication system may generate a first visual representation of a relationship between the first attribute and the plurality of derivative entities. Each of the derivative entities and the first attribute may be represented as nodes within the first visual representation. A first score for each of the nodes may be determined based on a degree of centrality of the nodes within the first visual representation. One network transaction may be blocked based on at least one node exceeding a first threshold.
